tbh the ending wasn't entirely riduculous. The death of his wife and one and only family member was the catalyst that finally made the guy decisive enough to kill the villain. So the death of his wife was necessary in my opinion although it was heartbreaking that I bawled my eyes out.

tbh, if Park Chang Ho were as decisive as he was in the end, at the beginning lot fo people would have lived, including his wife. Maybe the writer killed his wife to bring out that version of Park Chang Ho.

try watching her drama Tempted. For me that's the only drama of hers where her acting was good.
