There was a really cool analysis of the show I read where it suggested that the sound effects were heavier in the beginning because we see Nubsib almost putting on this kind of mask for Gene. He is only sweet to Gene, it's kind of unnatural and stiff (which everyone has picked up on), and we can even see that he doesn't treat Tum or Aey that way. HOWEVER, in episode 4 we were able to see so much more of the real Nubsib; the way he cared for Gene when he was drunk, when he burned his hand, etc. In my opinion that's why the sound effects were toned down- because in most scenes Nubsib was serious; it was his true self. Same thing with Gene. In the beginning he put up this front against Nubsib and was almost defensive but here we get to see a whole lot more of his true feelings surface. Episode 4 just felt a whole lot more REAL, you know?

Yeah I personally don't really have an issue with this drama because they knew each other before their parents got married and then they were all of a sudden just thrown together.
I find it a cute drama but of course I watch it strictly on an entertainment basis- things like the romance between the teacher and the student is absolutely absurd and would never happen in real life, and getting a sprained ankle after someone fell onto your SIDE would never happen either.
So yeah, I think it's enjoyable to watch and cute but I also don't take it too seriously.
P.S. I actually really love the way Prab and Chon's relationship is portrayed. It has a very natural progression and I notice that Prab seems to really care for him. Chon is clearly trying to make Prab jealous; I don't think he likes Khun in that way. Prab and Chon both seem to get annoyed with each other quite often but at the same time they care for each other and there's a very evident love between them. Platonic? Romantic? That is yet to be seen; however currently I'm just enjoying their interactions in general.

RIGHT?! I somehow feel like he's doing that on purpose, because I've watched Kao act in UWMA and his acting is way more natural. I'm really excited to see how this show plays out. I have a feeling there's a lot more going on below the surface.
I agree that the story isn't exactly the most realistic, but I personally think the drama's cute. I wish it was longer, but it's still enjoyable to watch. And I really love the ost by CITI (시티)
