Fated hearts sucked . i dropped after he got stabbed. Too much plot to make it extend episodes. Unnatural
Main characters in dramas usually always suffer some kind of major setback/injury... that's just how it goes! So it made sense to me. I guess from your perspective though, it happening closer to the end just seemed like a plot device to make the drama longer. I don't know... personally, I thought it was really cool how one person I never thought was a villain and the other person who I thought would never be able to kill his best friend ended up "killing" him! It also goes to show that the ML was so strong that he could only be harmed by those close to him. Betrayal by your close ones is a very real thing.
This drama definitely gets better as it goes along. I’m on ep. 32 of Fated Hearts and, personally, after the…
I found myself strangely invested in Xia Jingyan & Feng Xiyang's arc in those final episodes, just because they were matching each other's crazy, haha. But even if that's not your cup of tea, there's still lots of action and resolution to come! Enjoy!
I started watching this after I finished "Fated Hearts" which was a completely different vibe and very good, definitely my top drama of 2025.
This one is, at least at the start, reminding me more of Ashes of Love. This is not meant as a diss, just a genuine question: can anyone tell me if the vibe of the show gets less... childish as time goes on?
It's a little silly right now with how much she clings to Ji Bo Zai and how much he entertains it. I just finished episode 6, for reference. Does the drama get a little more serious later on?
Feng Suige's mother was killed unjustly. The empress's desire for her son to be king is corrupting her. You will…
Okay, if you insist.
Feng Suige's mother was stabbed and killed by Zhuang Shen to clear the path for his daughter to become Empress (she was only a consort at the time).
Feng Suige doesn't directly punish his step mother out of regard for his brother Chengyang, but lets her face the consequences of her actions. She eventually kills herself rather than facing punishment.
by that, i mean:1. when does ml find out about the fl's real identity?2. if ml finds out the fl's also looking…
Wow, that's REALLY late for hidden identity to be revealed lollll I'm only on episode 5 and still have 20 more to go! I assume they start falling in love regardless of them lying to each other though? Like eventually the pretend becomes real, regardless of the fact that he doesn't know her real identity?
Finally done!I waited for this drama, right from when it was announced, I waiteddd😭 I even came on here to…
(ep 4) I have a question - are their spirit animals just extensions of themselves? The search mirror reacted to 27 just like it reacted to Ming Xian, so is he... part of her?
And do only those who have spiritual veins have spirit animals?
The first drama I saw of Neo's was "Back from the Brink," so going from that drama to this one I was like "dang, he's got such a different voice here," only to realize THIS ONE is his ACTUAL voice lol and his character in Back from the Brink was dubbed
If u HATE love triangles THEN stay away from it :) Watching this pussy boy SML and his actions will make u wanna…
Haha the last drama I watched (Fated Hearts) was amazing and had zero love triangles and zero villains who were pure evil only for the sake of it, so I didn't feel like punching the screen every episode. I wanna watch this but is the SML really that bad?? Am I going to go crazy watching his scenes? Lol
Haha, one of the main complaints about this drama was "not having enough politics". The drama is broken…
I like your division of the episodes and how you said it slows down during the second part. I completely agree. I stopped around episode 17/18 and just couldn't force myself to watch anymore. Oh well, I gave it a good go.
Please can anybody tell me how the main leads mother dies and will he kill the current empress because I think…
Feng Suige's mother was killed unjustly. The empress's desire for her son to be king is corrupting her. You will see how that plays out. Enjoy watching the show unfold! I just finished it and it was quite literally one of the best, if not the best, cdramas I've watched.
In this drama, Chen Zheyuan's own voice has been used. And there are two other actors (I can't remember their…
Is one of those other actors who dubbed their own lines Qin Tian Yu who plays Jinxiu Emperor Xia Jing Yan? I don't know how to describe it but his voice matches his face/mouth so much that I'm like that HAS to be his voice lol

What do you find problematic and inconsistent about the drama? I'm trying to decide to watch it or not
