Thank you for your service Gao Tu, but you only was not enough.
When I watched the trailer of this, I was really hyped, really excited...how silly I was.I only started watching when they aired 15 episodes, so I was seeing the commotion around this, and made me think that I was missing so much, since I was not watching weekly. When I started watching, I wondered if I was seeing the same thing as everyone else, because it wasn't at all what I expected. I expected something good and found an empty story, with characters you hardly bond with because of their bad personalities. Hua Yong tried to be a manipulator with motives and people would like, but it didn't come off that way, just another boring character like any other. The main couple was boring and didn't entertain me at all. It made me super irritated to watch, it made me sleepy. The secondary couple was one of the things that made me want to keep going. Gao Tu carried the entire drama on his shoulders. He was the most interesting character in the plot, thus making Wen Lang interesting too. Their ending was so bad, vague, a waste of potential. I thought they would focus more in the pregnancy since this is point the audience were expecting, bust it was so fast that if you blinked you would miss, they couldn't close well the main couple, I was dreaming when I thought they could for the side. This drama was just a waste of people's time. I tried to like it, but it was very difficult. People asking for a second season, I dont think another season would fix, how boring this was.

I want a ChangYang in life too.
This BL drama is so sensible; it made me really think about the things that we value, the way you can see your life, and different points of view that I didn't happen to think of. Sometimes having a simple life is just ok.Their chemistry was always amazing to me; the way JingYu made ChangYang's character feel like a walking green forest, he just loved QingLang with all his bad habits and acts. And Yiwen made Qinglang so well, like how it is for an actor to have the urge to feel like two different people. The visual is so beautiful, the connection with nature, the culture inserted, and it was so good to see traditions. Cinematography was STUNNING. And yet, feeling that some things could have gone better in the plot, I cannot think that this series is anything but really good.
Their kisses are like nobody else's kisses; they have to be praised for that. Hope that they have a lot of more series, projects coming because I really loved this one.

Simple Review
I really enjoyed this bl, I wished it would have more time, because things felt kinda rushed to be honest. Jiankai has many complex issues that I didn't feel were solved. But it was fun to watch, I gave it an 8, and I feel that is fair.(OMG!!! DaWei has beautiful form, I did not expect that).

The series portrays traditionalism, religion, and beliefs in a way that keeps you entertained by the characters and makes you wonder what will happen in the next episode. The episodes are numerous and lengthy, which is why I deducted some points because it became a bit tiring towards the end; it could have been a little shorter. However, it's an impeccable piece of work, with good actors who managed to convey their characters effectively. However, it's necessary to point out that the ending seems a bit anticlimactic, as there were many good scenes only for something that seemed very simple to happen at the end. I would like to praise the performance of Rampueng's actress , who was a very important part of this story and managed to raise the level of acting in this series. I would probably think twice before rewatching it because it's very long, but it's interesting how they managed to incorporate elements of Thai culture and finally for Domundi to get something right. Charn&Jet my beloved <3Was this review helpful to you?
