Yup, that was exactly my reaction too. After what happened to her, an empathetic, non-egotistical person would first comfort their partner. Later, once she was feeling a bit better, he could bring up that he was hurt and confused that she didn’t tell him. His hurt is understandable, but making that the focus in that moment felt really self-centered.

Ah, I see! But since ep 20 is only 10 months later and her posting lasts 14 months, there can’t have been a big time jump before Tibet either. So most of the missing 2 years would still have to be between eps 18 and 19. Maybe I should just stop questioning the logic at this point haha

Sorry they have compressed/edited the timeline so much that it doesn't make sense anymore or am I mistaken? Ep 18 says Zhi Tao and Luan Nian have been together for 4 years. In ep 19, she starts her 14-month Northwest posting, then 3 months later Luan Nian visits and they go to Tibet — where he suddenly says they’ve been together 6 years. Then ep 20 starts “10 months later”, when her 14-month posting is almost over. So 3 months + 10 months fits the posting perfectly, meaning there can’t have been a hidden 2-year jump before Tibet. Is the “6 years” line a continuity/editing error?

Exactly. just seems like lazy storytelling and kind of ruined the magic of their first kiss for me.

Obviously this is a fluffy workplace romcom, but is no one going to acknowledge how bad the optics will be for both of them when people find out that, right after squashing the scandal about her dating the director, the CEO is now dating that same rookie employee himself?

Ryotaro & Motomi (the younger couple, he’s the guy with the dyed blond hair) and Wataru & Midori (the couple who both spoke English) both have a kid. Plus, super random but two contestants who were not paired up on the show also got together and married after the show (Ayano & Mori)

Love is Blind Japan! Most of the contestants have dating experience but it's super wholesome and two of the couples ended up married after the show and have kids now 😭

I get it LOL I skipped through most of the scenes of the FL and SML. But I really enjoyed how the show dealt with class issues and the storyline of ML and SFL

I fell in love with him after watching The Interest of Love, he's so adorable on that show. Beware though, this more of a slow melodrama than a straight up romance and the two leads are a bit frustrating
