Tbh I don’t know where people get that from, in the drama they are not shown as siblings at all and they’re just two students in the same school. Their parents date eachother, her mom is his Dad’s girlfriend but that doesn’t make you a step sibling or family member unless they are married (which they aren’t and don’t ever get married) He was never officially adopted into the family, both of them never knew of one another, he is still unaware that his Dads girlfriend has a daughter (because she abandoned her daughter and disowned her when she was a child, leaving her to be raised by her grandma.) and they didn’t live together or grow up together as children. There is quite literally no indication of any familial bond or “pseudo incest” except for the random “brother” and “sister” one liners which makes no sense in the grand scheme of the drama 😭 and they both hate her mother.

go find something else to watch then 😭 nobody is holding yall at gun point to watch “pseudo incest” dramas. Which a lot of yall seem to act like you are.

Her mother would probably make her get rid of it especially knowing its a dog she shared with Jin Zhao who her mother forbid her to see. Her mother doesn’t even know they dated.

sometimes I come on here to look at what ppl complain about and i laugh cause some of yall really be mad at non issues 😭 media literacy is so dead these days.

if ur actually watching the drama and taking time to notice the subtle cues in the storytelling we wouldnt be having all this discourse

i said it earlier but alot of u let ur anger and grudge against the female leads actions blind u and u start to misconstrue everything with what u made up in ur heads about her…. like her actions and feelings toward sang yan.

they definitely are cus they have been here quite a few times and everytime they are hating on the female lead and come up with many excuses to hate on her when people give them explanations for the female leads actions

yep cus seeing the male lead sad is somehow worse to them

some of yall got a grudge against the female lead for her actions that its blinding you when it comes to her interactions with sang yan. she uprooted her entire life and disappeared for 6 months thats gotta make her feel guilty and somewhat undeserving of him. her reaction to seeing him after 6 months was realistic to her character arc.

also many of u are saying why did nobody look for her? not si qiao not xiang lang or sang yan maybe its because she said in her letter she wanted nobody to look for her and they love her enough to respect her wishes or did u forget already

wen yifan is as complex as they get and yet none of u even understand her and jump to blame her

yall want complex female characters until u get one lollll
