Ok, I just have to say it. To everyone complaining about the age gap and the fact that he is a grandafther....Have…
Well you have a point xD but people look at it differently because vampires are mythical creatures who are not... entirely human, idk. To me it looks like the fact that their bodies don't age creates this illusion that they are "young forever" and mental age doesn't count, it's hypocritical because then what, we only look at age through bodies? And mental age doesn't exist?
So if a real grandpa in an "old" body transports himself to the younger body and has a romance with a young dude, it's bleh because we've already seen him in this old body, therefore he's old in our eyes. But when someone stops aging and at 100yo romances a 25yo then it's fine. So it's really a matter of a body... imagine someone being a 70yo spirit and then that spirit posesses a young body and then it has a romance with 25yo man. It's still fine XD
Or maybe it's only because it's his grandson's body and if he possessed some random body it still would be fine?
Sorry, this topic triggered me some mental gymnastics.
Much as I hate the NC scenes in this one, I’ll give them one excuse - barely an excuse, to be clear, since they’re…
The point here is not how the characters were built, but how the scenes were executed. You can portray subtle, romantic sex in a realistic, non stiff way. The actors here were behaving like dolls.

Ok I admit I forgot they are a real couple (apparently) and your explanation makes a lot of sense. We can only guess what factor is mostly at fault here - their awkwardness (so the crew needed to manipulate the scene somehow to make them feel more comfortable and it resulted in this awkward choreography) or just bad direction.
i’m also not a fan of their nc scenes. idk the tension is there but there isn’t really any chemistry. ramil…
It’s just that the creators aren’t even trying to create a sense of spontaneity and sincerity in these scenes — the viewer watches it like choreography, for lack of a better word. I watched it like: now we stand, now we sit, now we stand up again, now we move to the desk etc.... Cinematography is about creating the illusion that we’re seeing something real, and filmmakers usually try to shoot and edit scenes in a way that makes us believe in that world… but I simply don’t believe in the world presented in this show. Everything feels blatantly artificial; there’s no suspension of disbelief. It's just... pretty and hollow.
Sex is raw, unpredictable and spontanous - their scenes were the opposite. And then there’s the way Khanin kept dragging that blanket wrapped around his waist every time he changed position… I get that they can’t show everything, and I’m not expecting them to — but there are ways to shoot a scene so that it comes across naturally without revealing anything sensitive.
And it's not about actors or their lack of chemistry - it's a bad direction and screenwriting.
tbh I'm not a fan of their NC scenes... they all look like a choreography, it's so fake it hurts. And I'm saying it with a whole lot of sympathy for this pairing and show (even if it's silly and naive). I feel absolutely nothing looking at them, I see no emotions, just... learnt and mastered moves.
Guys, I just started reading HOB and I stumbled upon this page, and I'm here wondering what is stopping them from releasing it? Is China now banning even the censored adaptations just because the source is a BL? Why won't they release it internationally then? I want it to become reallll
Hi Mimi, nice to see you here. I remember you from KinnPorche comment section xD Have you watched anything as…
I guess RL is the one for me xD Idk I'm quite picky when it comes to BL's, I watch most of it to relax and when I'm bored, but not much excitement there. RL and KP are unique and nothing comes close. But I liked the eighth sense, love in the big city and Jack & Joker. And 4Minutes ofc

And I can't believe someone who's 72 would watch a BL, let alone leave random comments here about their life.
