where do i even start

chinese bls have this thing with rape to romance that i simply am sick and tired of. although, please give the credit where credit is due, eliot’s acting was absolutely amazing. he’s the one that stuck out to me the most. the ability to change personalities through his demeanor, eyes, its really a talent. i had many moments where i thought of dropping this, it took me alot of time to finish, and.. speaking of finish, the ending was terrible. gao tu was probably the only one that was innocent completely althought sheng shao yu was innocent too in my opinion. gao tu had the most depth out of them all, though, and i’m upset how they sidelined him. not because i wanted him to get with shen wan lang though, oh no, i hated him, and you will too if you give it a try. eliot’s acting convinced me into finishing it, he did great, even tho his character hua yong.. was quite a complex one. the others, i cant say the same? no one sold me on acting but eliot. it has twists and turns, lots of them, things that will make you go crazy with realization, like literally, but overall? its not amazing. i think the non con elements add to my distaste for it, as well as the terrible fight scenes. it could be excused once, maybe twice, but god, sheng shao you and shen wan lang’s fights were absolutely horrendous, whoever edited them has got to get fired. it seemed childish, which is not what a fight scene’s vibe is supposed to look like. i can’t exactly call it mediocre, its a bit lower than that. but its revolutionary for a fixed couple in cbl, so i wish eliot and kipuka the best! and.. maybe better roles too..
