People who are worried and uncomfortable about the age gap, I totally understand like just thinking about that horror with LYT omg...BUT give Lin Shen a chance! He pulls off his roles with a certain charisma without coming off as a creep, and personally I think he looks pretty fine at 39.

First ep was pretty awesome, LSG pulled it off so well, those changes in expressions! It's so exciting seeing a lead that's actually a killer.

Luhan improved a lot! Humour is pretty good, liking it so far, personally find Xiao Feng's side and characters more interesting than Lu Xiao Bei's from the first 8 episodes.

Seo Dan and Seong Joon stole my heart, they deserved each other so much, but the writers had had to ruin their happiness when they finally found it.

Love his acting, he can pull off both comedy and darker, emotional scenes so naturally. Hope he gets more lead roles!

Honestly, aside from NiNi in Rise of Phoenixes, which chinese historical actually tries to choose a FL that can pull off the handsomeness when cross-dressing and hold femininity when not.

Unpopular opinion but I think that Love and Destiny is way more well done than Eternal Love. I felt that I could actually feel and believe the love between the characters, not to mention the difference in the acting of the cast (sorry but Yang Mi and NiNi aren't even on the same level). Even though NiNi's character might not be the most likable, the way she brings out the playfulness of LingXi without being annoying and the earnest and kindhearted LinMo. Casting Chang Chen was perfect, his acting and small gestures made me believe how much more he's experienced as the God of War and being years older than LingXi.

So much potential, can't wait to see him in more works!
