Hmm idk. People made a discussion even about the Douban ratings and heat index.
So I don't see why a discussion about the director's issues would be a problem.
Some might say it can bring the drama down, which is a silly excuse imo, because the drama doesn't only belong to GJM. And a couple of votes isn't more important than real humans.
Still, it's up to you. I'm not an expert on this matter. I can see Neo's fans don't like trouble. But I was a fan of this director and had no idea about these issues.

Yes I agree, she wasn't given many opportunities to show/prove her qualities. And as I said, that last sacrifice should've been hers. I've posted about this in feeds. They wrote her last scenes very poorly.

Is it possible to put this in the discussions section? This shouldn't be lost in the comments. It's important. Some of us who follow this director never knew about these issues.

Thanks for sharing. DY had many issues. For me, MC being overshadowed by SML wasn't one of them. In fact, that drama was partially ruined by the amount of focus on YDJ's cliche love affair, when we could've gotten a lot more of the history and characters we were anticipating.

Was GJM even expecting him to be overshadowed? Because I used to dislike the guy and was still blown away by his portrayal of ZY.

That extra should've been episode 35. It's not the typical vague special episode that creators often throw out to appease fans. It ties to the story and is important.

It changes the ending from predictable into different and meaningful, because it shows they didn't just follow what they were told to. And the sacrifices managed to leave a big impression that won't be easily overwritten.

1. Taking into account the extra episode, it's a hopeful ending.

2. Kind of from the beginning. It's the undertone. Halfway through, it starts becoming more apparent. In 26 it hits full force and continues till the end of the drama.
