just finished episode 9 and omg.. the amount of tears I cried 🥹🥹 what a rollercoaster of emotions.. I'll never understand people who aren't enjoying this drama the way I am. It's simply a masterpiece idk how can you not see it 😭
the drama is literally a 10/10 so far. the main reviews having such low ratings makes absolutely no sense and I'm starting to question this app. Some people are just so childish I'll never understand 😭 if you clearly know that your opinion is biased and unimportant why share it with us lol nobody asked! here comes another comparison with the cdrama *sigh* I believe you saw it this way just because you've seen the original and you're confused why it isn't the same, His character is realistic and makes so much sense to me I mean not every father has to be expressive. he's quiet and doesn't share his thoughts and feelings and that's okay. Some details can be changed in adaptations, the problem is that most of you started watching this drama expecting to watch the exact same things you did in the original which is not the case here
& I feel like I have to mention this, as someone who grew up without a father with my mom and older brothers (dad passed away when i was only 2), some people around me, ( especially old people or my classmates, just like in the drama with that guy and the ahjummas ) have said it in my face "it must be unfortunate for you to live such a life" "oh poor you", at those moments it really hurt me but I didn't have an answer I just smiled and nodded while wondering inside my head how can people be so mean and inconsiderate to others!. But watching this drama really made me regret not answering like Juwon, I still remember her line “No we're not unfortunate at all. Who's ordinary in this world? What family doesn't have a story? Everyone is special in their own way.” This one scene made me really emotional I cried a lot. Also every scene where they discuss their mother-issues gets me emotional they did an amazing job with portraying the characters. ☺️
