yes!!! i really enjoyed the depth of her character in Royal Feast ^_^ i also feel that her nickname in RF has deeper ties with her backstory. i just found it cute how it suits her in both dramas (and now i'm thinking about how she's gotten into identity shenanigans twice now haha)

there's one plot point i still wonder about in the back of my mind — will we find out what happened to XFF's previous maid :O (XFF did ask bai xue about her whereabouts in ep 6, but i don't think they've brought it up again since then...)

i actually would love to see SYR plot his own revenge on the princess, especially now that we're seeing how he's losing whatever marbles he has left because 1) he's still being haunted by the ghost of his wife even though he knows that she didn't die and 2) he's smart enough to know that the princess isn't necessarily in love with him (more that she loves owning and torturing him lol)

let them kill each other 🫡 that's the least he could do to repay what he did to XFF (but of course this depends on whether or not he remains a pathetic coward ha)

ohh i haven't watched either of those, sorry! i personally enjoy the revenge/scheming aspects more so the slow burn feeds me just fine 😆 (XH/XFF's chemistry is way too good though... i'm also hoping their interactions get even sweeter later on)

yeah there's a scene i really like that happens at the start of EP 11 ^_^ eventually in EP 14 they start acknowledging that they both can work together (and the leads interact more freely when XFF travels out of the capital to meet the ye family)

it's a slow burn but tbh the wait is worth all the lovely scenes we get of them! the episodes they released this week gave us so many good romantic interactions and tropes (EP 19 was my fav)
