I'm not sure if it's because I know Tan Jianci or if I'm in love with the story, or perhaps both, but every time the two appear onscreen—Tan Jianci and Zhou Ye—I'm full of butterflies.
This is my first time watching Chang Huasen's work here, and he's nailing it.
Just finished watching episode 12 & I hope the plot won't focus too much on the romantic aspect of the two leads, especially the constant 'having a baby' part. While it was nice in the beginning, repeating the same thing again and again becomes dull. I hope they shift the focus to the political strife between the two states and explore other characters' stories as well.
From Episode 9, it doesn't feel like there's much happening in the plot. It's mainly centered around giving advice and some teachings to the seemingly naive Prince Li (thankfully, there's some improvement in her character, but she can still be annoying at times). The scenes where the main leads get to know each other and fall in love could be shortened to make it more precise; they feel a bit draggy ( having sweetness is good, but too much sweetness can turn bitter).
As of now, the best part about this series for me is the breathtaking fighting scenes along with stunning visuals. I hope it will get better plot & story-wise too.
how many of you guys are watching this series on iQIYI app? (just want to know whether it's region-restricted or if iQIYI sold distribution licenses to other streaming platforms for international audiences. )
it's not available in my region, so I'm watching it on unofficial sites.

Visuals can only take you that far. I expected SK to be mediocre but I didnt expect KYJ to be really bad. Thats…
Lmao... seeing for the first time someone complaining about KYJ's acting. I'm not sure about SK, but for KYJ, she is the goddess of acting, whether some haters admit it or not
From "Moonlight Drawn Clouds" to "My Demon," I haven't missed any project of my baby girl YooJungshiii. Among all those series & movies, I loved her chemistry with Bo Gum the most. I know KYJ can nail any role or character she's given perfectly, she's a legend in it and has been working in this industry for almost 20 years (KYJ debuted in the entertainment industry at the age of 4). I hope this project will be a huge success for my girl and the whole team. The overall success of a drama depends on the entire production team, not just the actors or actresses. I'm crossing my fingers that everything to be good, especially the script and storyline. As we know weak storyline and a bad script can't save good chemistry or anything. Let's be optimistic and hope, it will exceed our expectations!
The drama had been on my pending list for almost two years, but this time, I finally started to watch it & completed it within 4 days as well. Words cannot adequately convey the depth of my admiration for this masterpiece. Despite hearing countless praises about the show's excellence, I honestly didn't anticipate it to be so utterly mind-blowing. It effortlessly surpassed all my expectations, simply leaving me in awe!
she's been saying from the first episodes that she loves him (SZ) and I think her behaviour toward him was also…
That's for sure. I believe Xie Wei and Jiang Xuening never had such kinds of conversations and interactions in their past life as they are having now in their present life. Even if Xie Wei liked her in the past life (as we saw in episode 1 when JXN slit her neck in front of him, how sad and broken he was), it was unspoken. So, this life is for mending and putting everything into its original place that was missed, unspoken, or unseen things that were actually supposed to be seen or noticed including Xie Wei love for JXN.
I am just crossing my fingers that I won't get sad ending. I am tired of sad endings in cdramas lately.

In this reincarnated life, we're not sure whether she loves him or not because the concern, admiration, and love she feels toward all those around her, including SZ, are the effects and reactions of her past life. However, judging from her past life recollection and the way she behaves with SZ among the three male leads, it does seem like she was in love with him, and there's no denying it. But whether she will love him in this present life, after they encounter each other, is yet to be seen, as they just met today in episode 10.
