I hated this version. The FL screeched/yelled almost every line through the whole drama. While the ML showed more emotion, his main way of showing emotion was screwing his lips back and forth. This drama also had Naoki more of a wimp than cold. He just went along.. even to the point of going out with Reiko, FOR YEARS, when he didn't like her and knew she had done evil things. Why? Never explains, it's not about his fathers company he just accepts her feelings in high school. Jump two years later, they're still together while Kotoko went off to school! Why did I hang in there at all? To see the big finish, which was a complete let down. It wasn't because he found out someone wanted Kotoko and she might want them also. It's because his mother pushed him into it and what did he hear in his head? Kotoko's screeching.. That would make me run the other way.

I love this version. The FL isn't a OTT stalker doormat. The ML isn't so cruel, he clearly cares and is jealous. The SML, FOR ONCE, is a sweet viable choice for her, perhaps better even. The ML's mother is a warm and wise woman, not a crazy cartoon. I only had one issue, so I will put a spoiler tag.. I didn't appreciate that Ten Ten didn't HAVE to go to another girl to save his father's business, but instead chose it without an obvious reason. Still, the romance at the end makes up for it more than the other versions imo.

well, Makeeda said "somewhat more realistic" and that's true compared to the other versions. It's not as OTT, it doesn't have such evil villains and it has much warmer , more human characters.

ack, I got up for my daily dose of this drama and now it's changed to Tues, Weds, Thurs:/. it's like a drug, they get you addicted and then withhold, haha

yes, I am dropping as well. too bad, first I really don't like harems and there was no reason to make this a harem story. second, the abuse she continually takes, well, actually that's first, haha.. can't stand that. I have two firsts:)

yes, because those unfair, sad things are going to happen in this story. It's what it's about, :/ I don't know why I go through that.. but honestly, I like some of the ways they have shifted the story, so I will see how they tell the story. I will say I am shocked they are going to be separated for 7 yrs. if that's true like the synopsis said.

I still haven't gotten over how he pushed Xing Yue and said " Don't touch her" as if Xing Yue was garbage touching something precious of his. He made a big mistake with me, lol

I have watched all the Fated to Love you versions, altho it's a hard drama for me to watch. It has so much sadness and cruelty in it, so angsty.. And frustrating.. This remake is smoothing so many of those things out, it's more respectful, more rational , less cruel, so far. I am up to ep 8. It's the same story with it's very real pain, but the ML is not quite so heartless ( yet) and the FL has showed her stronger side and said a few things in her own defense that I appreciate. It's easier to watch, I scream at my screen less haha

Just watching the trailer now, it looks like it has more influence from Fated to love you/You are my destiny than I previously thought. Before the synopsis made it sound like it would be pretty different. I didn't realize it was out!!Whoop! I am off to watch:) hmm, now that I am watching it looks like it's headed on the same path... but with 10-12 more eps than the other versions. I hope this version spends more time on the happy parts and not the many, many sad parts..
