Someone named InspectorMegre sends me a private message. He/she can't stand dissenting opinions and is greedy.…
Inspector Megre despite the great name posts culturally insensitive messages that are way too long. Possibly bot-like behavior, cant let go of arguments and keeps saying the same thing.
ep12 So, I liked this show a lot. It had a few flaws but it also had the classic emotional structure -- we were hooked by the murder mystery and amazed at RaIk's kisses. And the reconciliations dear to any faithful kdrama watcher were precious therefore. The way they were accomplished via guest tickets for the seoul festival concert was very tidy.
I had a thought while watching the way in Ep11 sometimes narrative is accomplished by recalling the incident after it happened -- The entire plot of a show should ALWAYS be larger than the script. Otherwise we get tedious and boring pedestrian narratives where every single thing is developed and nothing left over for wonder and imagination.
It feels richer if parts of the overall plot are folded up and only partially revealed, or visited in retrospect or only implied....as long as the part which makes up the main dramatic structure is clearly and forcefully revealed.
This show is turning up an unusual pattern. The popular kdramas on Netflix rely on the base of N&S Asia, the gulf states and Latin America. But CTLBT is holding on later than usual in the more European markets -- Argentina (tastewise), France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Greece without any showing at all in the English-speaking countries.
FINALLY she is wearing pants at work -- albeit only for her presentation.
The entire firm says goodbye to ZhiYu when he leaves for the airport and she may as well not have been wearing anything waist down, her skirt so nearly matched the lower edge of her sweater. And none of the other women were showing leg at all. It was just plain wrong, fashion or not, suggestion of vulnerability or not.
But yes, she is showing signs in that scene of the vulnerabiity she doesnt want to show/wallow in. Does it have to be in shorts socks, loafers and naked knees to express it? Since she doesnt want to say the words. Oh well, if only the other women had been wearing skirts or a guy or two in shorts.
ep27 love the little spat over her shocking spontaneous declaration that marriage can wait. Her Dad's and Zhi Yu's tiny unspoken shock! Delicious. Societal change on a tiny platter. They will get married, right?
Although this was a super-discreet slow-burn romance, notice everyone;
the scene of LJL waking up in bed in very nice white and black silk after their first love-making is one of the hottest things I have seen in months. My nomination for years best?
HMH is such a babe. His voice in the opening duet in the credits says it all about his lush but Gen Z romanticism. "I never tire of gazing upon your charming smile".
I will be glad if hye-joo is the killer of wooSeong, because it would be cool if the first suspect cleared is the ultimate reveal. However the almost murder of JaeHee doesnt seem her style, if she is a crazed knife-wielder...

I will miss Do RaIk and SeNa.
My Mondays and Tuesdays will be dimmed for a little while.

nice couch-necking. Although the waking up alone on the couch is meant to be interpreted as you like, it is a little odd.
