I still think Shin Joo Hyup (JH's secretary and the MomTeam buddy gofer)and Jung Gae Hee ((JHs really wonderfully emotionally conflicted older sister) should have had top billing instead of the parents because they really carried the drama structure on their shoulders.
However the performances of the parents by the actors who did get that top billing spot were quite important in the end to the plot.
Ep14, the consult on JHyeok's amnesia I know I recognize the actor playing the neurosurgeon/consultant with yet another little extendable hand-pointer...but the name escapes me. Anybody else swifter on the uptake?
nice drama .. should watch ..one think i didn't liked about Cen Jin is that , Li Wu is always grateful of her…
From my limited Cdrama experience it seems to me that Chinese women in the home are so frequently depicted as a bit snappy out of love that it might indicate a slightly different perimeter for expressions of love and care in Cdframa moderns.
And also in Cdrama modern it seems to me that manners outside the home are also less carefully structured around humble respect as a sign of good character?
This show has sweet moments. However, the script, directing and cuts makes it seem as though it was created by…
Weirdly enough, after looking at Idol I, it occurred to me that maybe idol actors (SZY is a performer) try to be realistic in their roles. That is to say that many of them live in this horrible demanding cage and are very immature....really really really immature.
I watched this awhile ago and lked it. Despite Sun Ze Yuan being a typical idol actor -- cheerful but not skilled -- I still couldnt look away from his silliness. He was a little better as a supporting character in love of nirvana. I still check in to see what he is doing. And that is what is called charisma.
Definitely a restrained, elegant Chinese version of the Game of Thrones vibe, but no dragons. Even the settings are from the same era --7th Century plus.
Someone needs to do a real deep dive into kim seon ho's horoscope coz the guy just cannot catch a break with the…
One of the Fire Tigers of 86, he is able to tough it out. Western astrology: he is a Taurus so once again, the guy is strong. Remember he has a career in stage acting which isnt affected by this sort of nonsense.
This new look of JiHyeok's, a real fierce one -- he throws his head back, make narrowed glittery eyes and then staring, he grins....oooh. He has turned it on in this episode at the last minute. I like it. I hope to see JKY playing many more roles with some of the new sides he has shown here.
Ep13. had to skip over the weird and nauseating self-sacrifice of DaRim, but stopped just at the last minute to hear JiHyeok tell DaRim that he wanted to be nagged by her for the rest of his life. Now that should have been nauseating but somehow it wasnt. small mysteries.
However the performances of the parents by the actors who did get that top billing spot were quite important in the end to the plot.
ALL OF MY HOSTILITY TO DARIMS CHARACTER IS GETTING WASHED OUT BY HYSTERICAL ROLLING_AROUND_THE SOFA LAuGHTER!!!!

Woo-wee.
