a story about hopes and dreams

study group is a story about hopes and dreams. it’s not meant to be realistic or practical, but through the characters and their stories, we learn about growth, friendship, and what it means to have dreams.

our protagonist, yun ga min, is great at everything except studying. but that’s what makes him so special. he’s always there for his friends, his teacher, and stays true to himself. i love how the study group is formed and how it explores the back stories of different characters. we see their motivations, personalities, and their challenges, which makes them more relatable and human.

the action scenes are very well done. while some may say it’s over the top, i think it’s fitting for this show because the whole point IS how violence is the only solution to the chaos in school and how our characters can protect themselves because the adults don’t.

throughout the show, our study group is tested repeatedly on what it means to hope and dream. we see a bunch of students who had 5% motivation to study learn and grow, while slowly changing the school environment for the better so others can have the opportunity to study (which was taken away from them since the start).

really looking forward to the next season!
