I didn't say it wasn't normal I'm saying it isn't normal to be fixated on a marriage despite having broken up. He's clearly looking for comfort or security out of the marriage and I didnt say being comfortable was inherently a problem its the fact that he's looking for that comfort in a marriage that would likely fail at this point in their relationship. 1st of all we have yet to see progression of their relationship but I dont think either of them should jump into a relationship so soon after breaking up. If the show does go down that route I wouldn't be a fan either. 2nd of all they've broken up so it wouldn't be cheating? Have you tried understanding the character yet bc it seems to me that you're ignoring that and too focused on the so called 'cheating aspect. I believe this show is character based and would benefit more being looked at through that lens. It's too early in the show to determine whether the show is promoting infidelity or showing the troubles within a relationship

They constantly show past memories that the characters dwell on from which we can infer that they're struggling to move forward. You seemed to be adamant that we should always try our best to sort out a relationship so I wanted to say that it's not always possible. Ofc it can be an issue if people don't try to out relationships but in the show it seems pretty obvious that the their relationship is starting to feel suffocating for them. I'm not saying they can't fix their relationship but its not weird if they ultimately feel more comfortable ending it

Considering the relationship between the FL and ML it seems idealistic and potentially unrealistic for them to try to sort it out as it has been portrayed that they seem to be reliant on past memories of their relationship. They don't seem to acknowledge their present relationship which would make it difficult to move forward with the relationship. It's kinda childish to only look at the positives of a relationship you need to realise that some relationships don't work out and it's better to let go
