❗️ FULL RECAP ❗️

Drama's time period:
[1999-2012] They use MSN Messenger + what appears to be a Nokia 6126 mobile [2006_xxxx].

As opposed to the trend with gay/Bl dramas lately, this Thai drama portrays the characters as ordinary people/teenagers without objectifying their bodies. Additionally, it doesn't seem to be primarily about making money through 'fan service' after the show ends, making it worth watching on its own.

It's a simple, yet heartwarming story.
A brotherly bond between two boys [Seeiw and Cake] who have been inseparable since birth; neighbors as well. Over time, 'Seeiw' develops romantic feelings for 'Cake', but won't reveal them. The fact that Cake travels far away with his family prevents Seeiw from having to deal with the situation until a later date.

EXTRA:
Until episode 10, their hair was normal -_- but at the end, they dyed it ugly yellowish-orange brown and ruined the visuals for me. I will never understand Thai hair-style-trend in BL! And Earth(Seeiw) wearing too much makeup/lipstick! But WHY!?! His acting also needed to be adjusted to appear more mature at university age, but as expected, he did not. Each time he(Earth) plays a role, he portrays a character that perfectly reflects his own personality in real life. That's fine, but certain aspects of the drama need to be changed for that to work.

The entire cast was well-chosen. The actor who plays Cake is exceptional. Despite being only 18, he acts much more mature than the adult(26 yrs old) portraying 'Eiw'. My hope is that he doesn't just play BL roles.

Gay/BL-averse viewers won't watch this, but it's a story I want them to view and interpret as they see fit. That's why an open ending would have made me appreciate this drama more. Instead of having the straight kid say "I will be gay for you"! It's not a damn switch in the head.
