Lee Jin Geun saw how the neighborhood reacted to the murderer and the family member/s of the murderer, so I think this was what was holding him back. It gave him a trauma in a way and so missed the timing to give his piece about the incident. Yet, the culprit might be closely related to him that made him silent. Nevertheless, the children of Jihwa-Dong was greatly affected of the past:

and among the three guys brawling, Lee Jin Geun owned this one. He played it very convincingly. He is the most vile yet whenever he is on screen, my eyes and focus would follow him. This guy needs a main for his next project (a more likeable one please).
Only one hand to count the projects that I have watched that she was in. I hope to see her more in genres that I frequent to because I really like her.

I have been hating his characters (villain roles), he is that good.
