I agree, they should have given more importance to the present which they unfortunately did not. The last episodes were truly a tease. I mean, I was very much convinced during the tunnel scene with their dialogue that it was a best that they parted ways. I would be satisfied if it ended there. But no, they changed their portrayal of the present Hee Do that, she did not in fact, moved on. I was not curious who is the dad if it was not YiJin or any of the past characters. But they should have been consistent in portraying Hee Do as the strong woman who is able to move forward with her choices. Realistic, yes, but I don't usually want that in my drama.

waaaah, did not expect to rewatch this and binge it till the end. Thank you netflix for bringing this gem. I grew up in this kind of stories and media. I am already in my late 20's and highschool setting do not appeal me anymore, but this is just a gem that I rewatched it and finished it in one go :P
