Total agree with your exposition point. It feels like a cheap villain monologuing their plans. We're constantly being TOLD of characters' motivations instead of being SHOWN. Director and screenwriter treat their audience like 5 year olds who are incapable of figuring out the plot for themselves.
Disappointed despite having no expectations for this drama. The lead characters' actions don't match their motives at all. Their motives also seem to change every two minutes.
Wasn't he supposed to drag her back to hell? Now all of a sudden he's reserving all the sweet things in life just for her???
Wasn't she supposed to be undercover - revealing her identity would mean years of wasted effort? Why step out into the spotlight and bleed for someone that you supposedly met only a couple of days ago???
why do these dramas always have to spend 80% of the show in the past... how much longer do I have to sit through these episodes. I guess that's what the title is alluding to: it truely is never ending.
I rarely ask for more eps from cdramas but this one feels necessary. It took like 10eps to introduce the major characters and then 6eps trapped in a stone...
I don't know enough about cinematography to know the term for it but why is the background blur so insanely high? Shots feel very very much like the subject is in a small green room with the background poorly added in post. Compared to Pursuit of Jade which felt like they're actually in the world.
I wish we had the writers' info/credit. That way I can avoid wasting my time with their future works. If they haven't moved on from the love triangle trope in 2026, I doubt they ever will.
