yeah… hated that scene too. it is different in asia, but in all honesty i thought she would do something considering her situation in the past. i’m glad she ended up being able to defend herself, poor mei mei did not deserve to go through dealing with that at work, and he got what deserved, qirang did too.

i agree on that! although i liked it, i hated that he didn’t apologize for that when it happened! but he did apologize i believe, bc i remember a scene where he was apologizing to her, just forgot which episode. but i think the whole reason for that was when he was talking to cheng qirang, he was like “i’ll protect her from everyone, even me, bc i treated her bad too.”
