BEAUTIFUL AMAZING
i had a blast watching this. im not entirely picky when it comes to movies and tv, so my review might not hold any value. regardless, i cant put into words just how enjoyable it was. the fight scenes were a give and take type of fight where no one had the upperhand, the representation of bullying and "the hunted becomes the hunter" trope were both astounding. to me, its so good of a story and theres so much depth to each character that you cant possibly hate anyone, that is unless you interpreted it the wrong way. i would say its a gorgeous found family/bromance trope but... that just feels wrong since its been confirmed by the director and choi hyunwook himself that it was a highschool romance trope instead. that honestly makes the story all the more depressing and meaningful, especially in an unaccepting place like korea.Was this review helpful to you?
