Depends on what you expect from it. It is loved even by non c-drama watchers because it is so easy to watch at first. Slice of life moments, amazing cinematography, emotional depth between leads makes this series unique. But after halfway through, the plot starts lacking. I guess it's because of the 40 ep limitation. They made first 15 episodes veerry slow burn and calm. After that, everything starts to happen all too quick and so much is going on at the same time. You should consider these before watching

Saw a tiktok post saying changyu is 19 and xie zheng is 28, and they made "teacher's pet" edit with this info. I'am not really a fan of age gap. Also xie zheng wasn't look like 4 years old in the alternate ending. He looked at least 7. It got me curious
