it was fun! the story was simple but still enjoyable. definitely worth a watch :) especially if someone's looking for something light and romantic with minimal angst (and boring "villains")

the historical setting makes it stand out from other gmmtv works although it's just a "historical fairy tale". it adds a lot to the visual aspect of the drama. everyone and every location looked stunning!
the romance is just overflowing, they're basically confessing their love every other second lol
casting was perfect and acting was also good
overall i'd rate it a 8,5/10

Similar titles would be categorized under the "wuxia" genre on mdl! It's basically chinese fantasy that focuses on martial arts and is in a historical setting. There's also "xianxia" which is wuxia but more "magical" so martial arts + chinese mythology, immortals, gods, demons, spirits, etc.
