I was really struggling to decide what my favourite Fourever You story was overall, but I think it has to go to ArthitDao, it kind of felt like the perfect blend of the best elements of all the other love stories to create something truly special. I think my final order is:
1. ArthitDao The chemistry, the slowburn, the opposites attract its perfect. Also I love they had no previous connection.
2. FahPhoon I sobbed through this and it was so heartbreaking, but sweet and just beautiful. Their my healing comfort couple!
3. JoNorth Just the best chemistry, a storyline from 2018, but MaxkyBas made this so special
4. SueaNao definitely not my favourite friends to lovers BL but it’s my favourite trope what can I say!
5. HillTer Should be at the top, as it’s 2 of my fave BL actors, but didn’t really feel the chemistry and I’ve seen them have insane chemistry previously - also I usually don't like this trope.
New said he killed himself with the shooting of When Oranges Fall. So I kind of hope he’s resting up with Good Boy (as it’s more of his usual style) and preparing to do the same again with 17th Spring, because I need it to be on that level - the best first 7 episodes of the year for me!!!
I really hope new puts in a much effort in 17th Spring as he does for this - this is so good so far
I hope so too! A brand new cinematographer and whole new writing team… I think he heard all of the negative feedback his past few series received and he realised it's time to change things up.
I like TayNews story in this, but I’m obsessed with MondRyus! I want more of them! I’m so invested - for a pairing that have never had a lead role and don’t have one coming up, the chemistry has always been way too GOOD!!!
The cast of Roommate Chaos have been saying that they are filming that soon for a while now so I guess that will be filmed first - I’m kind of surprised, I don’t know why I thought this would be. And director Au isn’t the type to film 2 at once I feel.
we’ve been begging for TutorYim to be given a project where they can grow and show their acting ability and here it is. Also with my favourite cp TleFirstOne as the side cp - I’m happy.
I'm not 100% sure on the extent of it. I thought Girl Rules was fine, I really liked certain storylines in it, but I know people said it wasn't up to the standard they were expecting and they weren't happy with how a particular character was written and felt it wasn't promoted enough. Jojo then tried to defend himself and that wound people even more up. People were so angry, there were homophobic slurs thrown at him and I was seeing death threats, so I don't know if something worse happened - I was a little lost on the whole situation, but I can't see him making a GL again and I think those GL fans will be happy if he doesn't.
Jojo was pretty much off social media for over a month until yesterday I think due to all the hate he was receiving for Girl Rules, but he's started posting a little again so hopefully we'll get some more updates soon
Aof said this is sill planned to be filmed and released in 2026, but I'm not sure how that's going to happen when they like to have month long waits between single Qs
New is quickly completing Qs on Be My Player Two, then he'll probably quickly do the Fourever You Special (if it's not already filmed?) - so I either this or Good Boy will be next. I really hope he doesn't film them at the same time - they're tonally so different... but he could, since he doesn't have any more wabisabi series announced for 2026 - and to be fair to him he filmed a lot of When Oranges Fall and Be My Player Two at the same time, when they couldn't look more different and When Oranges Fall has been PHENOMENAL so far!
Fourever You Part 2 has FINALLY wrapped filming... so can we hope we will be getting this soon as it's the directors only other project is this for the rest of 2026.
