Woah! Ahn Bo Hyun lost 17 pounds for this role - really changes his appearance - is there a reason for that referenced in the manhwa or is it just a character choice?
I always drop Cdramas around episode 15-20 - I always find they start to get boring. I’ve been watching dramas for 5 years now and I’ve only managed to finish 5 cdramas in that time! But this is the only one I didn’t want it to end! it’s such a fun story, with a lead couple overflowing with chemistry! I hope one day I’ll find other cdramas I love as much as this one!
Crying and Giving up my hope for msp2 after watching our sky. I think gmmtv only wants to do fanmeetings and sell…
I think you are right. But I’d almost be more excited to see Gemini and Fourth starring in a new BL as new characters together in 2024 - I’ll be keeping my fingerscrossed in December when they announce all their upcoming series - considering how popular they are it would be a shame not to use them in a new series, but it is GMMTV and as we are all aware they’re known for sometimes not using their most popular pairings for some strange reason. Atleast we definitely have them in 23.5!
I’m kind of obsessed that they really said - every single theory that fans had that didn’t end up being canon is now true in this universe! Like Gun being the first to have feelings and tiwpor secretly dating the whole times - it’s like they took notes and are giving us everything we asked for…not a continuation of the story, but I’m actually surprisingly happy with this!
kinda prefer Ho Yeon for Seung Jun! their relationship seems better developed than the leads in my opinion and he seems to genuinely be there for him as a supporting and helpful person in his life - im just not a fan of this weird instantly obsessive behaviour that Jae Hyun is doing.
I wasn’t going to watch this because towards the end I lost a bit of interest in the first series, but am I hearing that Lee Rang gets a proper and developed romance arc this series!?…I may justhave to watch it now!!!
yes! he was so charming in the Be My Favourite trailer- I feel like they were letting Gawin actually shine and show all his strengths. it also looks like quite a raw and emotional performance which we already know he can really do from Not Me. So proud of my GMMTV bias!
oh my goodness! that trailer was so beautiful! Gawin was so so charming - like he always is! I’m so happy after so many years he’s the lead in a series - he seems to be doing killing it from the trailer. And I have no strong opinions on Krist - I didn’t like his character in SOTUS back in the day and I’ve not seen him in anything since, but to me he seems really likeable in this role. I’m surprised that they actually have chemistry too! And the direction looks to be at the brilliant standard we are used to from this director. I’ve been a little excited for this since finding out who the director is but after that trailer my excitement is through the roof! Also just look at that poster! It’s so so pretty!
Regarding someone not really fitting the character, are you referring to JH? I ask because that's what I've been…
Yes! That’s exactly who I’m thinking of - as I said I don’t think he’s a bad actor, but he is a newer actor and in my opinion this role doesn’t really suit him.
This is just so beautiful, perfect, amazing and wonderful. I love this so much. It’s such a special drama where every single aspect works together to create this beautiful warm and healing drama! I was a little unsure of it after episode 1 but after that these characters have completely stolen my heart. As I’ve already said: I LOVE THIS!
it’s weird I feel like this drama could be good - but I just think that there’s been so much time and attention on other characters/storylines that the lead couples story doesn’t really work - especially when this drama has such a short run time - I know it’s an adaptation but maybe cut a character if you don’t have time left to explore the growth of the leads relationship. I also feel like the casting just doesn’t fit (that’s not to say that these leads are bad actors at all) but sometime actors just don’t fit certain roles and the character ends up feeling a bit strained or awkward because it just doesn’t fit the actor - I personally feel that’s what’s happened here with the leads which contributes to why I don’t really get their characters or feel their chemistry- this drama isn’t working for me for a mixture of reasons but I feel those may be the big ones. In my opinion it’s not terrible, but it’s also not good.
I have a feeling this will be dead fish kissing BUT I also feel that the story, acting and chemistry will be so good I won’t care and it’ll still be amazing anyway!
Episode 1 and a quite a bit of episode 2 didn't really work for me. I wasn't really feeling the lead couple at all, the team at the company made me so angry and then I found myself getting bored a few times BUT I really enjoyed episode 3 - I'm starting to actually like the main couple (the mosquito scene especially was very cute) they have potential to be a really sweet pairing and I'm now excited to see where they go, I'm also surprisingly looking forward to seeing Put and Pats past relationship - i usually hate when they bring an ex back into a series! And I was so excited for the side couple after the trailer was released - I just love Jaabs style and personality - his whole vibe! But I'm not completely sold on their pairing YET, although their scene by the window had so much chemistry I'm pretty sure I'll be a big fan of them very soon - so glad I stuck with this, I'm really enjoying this now and tomorrows preview looks so good too!
what’s the comparison between this and Love Between Fairy and Devil? Do you guys have a preference- I’m making my way through LBFAD, but not yet started this.
I find my attention keeps drifting - there were some good moments in the first episode but since then I keep getting distracted and then I kinda lose what’s going on. None of the characters are really doing it for me yet and there seem to be quite a lot of characters for so short a drama - and am I right that the other lead, his ex and his friend are ALL trying to go after Seung Jun? sometimes these dramas get better so I’m hopeful, but I guess my standards may’ve gotten a bit too high after we had the best streak of KBLs ever with Our Dating Sim, Unintentional Love Story and then Eighth Sense!
What is First Kanaphan best drama? I just watched him in moonlight chicken and love his acting 👏
I’d recommend him in ‘Not Me’. He’s in the side couple but gets a lot of screen time as an extremely flirty “bad boy” it’s a very different character for him but he plays it too well and the chemistry with his partner is… wow
Also just look at that poster! It’s so so pretty!
