Thai doesn't really have gendered pronouns (unless you are referring to a gendered role like mother or father) so this is definitely a problem with the translation/subtitles.

I just realized that Seng is in this drama and the Srng haters are weirdly proactive, so that could be a readon for the bad reviews. we just need to say all the nice things here so people will see good comments and choose to watch.

Pretty sure its getting negatively review bombed by haters. Not sure the source of the drama this time, though.

He became a monk to save his son. If he goes against his vows in any way his sacrifice will be completely in vain. Now it may not actually be working to save Khem, but how would he know? If he disrobed to be with him and Khem died, his father would see it as his karma for not keeping his vow. If his father stays a monk and Khem lives, he would see his sacrifice as worth it. And if your wondering why other monks can help Khem and he cannot directly intervene, it is because he has a relationship and attachment to Khem that a stranger monk would not have. Overall, this is a father with no spiritual powers of his own taking action in the only way he knows how to save his son.

I'm sorry, but in Thai media production specifically it means filming location. That is why they can be on the same Q for multiple days. That's so why you have some shows with very few Qs, like a 16Q show for example is not shot in 16 days, just only has 16 shooting locations. The idea that it counts a day might be the case in other countries media or it is a interfan misconception.

That's not exactly right. Q is the shooting location. They can spend multiple days shooting the same Q.

I am 2 eps in and debating droping the series. Everyone raves about this show, so I want to give it a shot, but I can't stand Chi Cheng and find him irredeemable. He has triggered all my triggers and crossed my few lines that I have all in the first ep. I kinda just think he should go die in a hole. Can anyone share a reason to keep going?

Sesson 2 when????

I really liked it, but the story got a little messy in the last two eps. I know some people don't love Idol Factory commedy, but I love Thai humor and that was the real selling point for me. I actually wish it was longer.

It depends on the show. Somtimes it cuts just any old scene for time, but sometimes it means cutting the spicy scenes. This series has very few spicy scenes, so I'm guessing cutting for yime. The Youtube version is the uncut, though, so it's fine to watch it there.

literally cried watching the pilot. This is the best looking GL trailer I've ever seen.

He did quite taking main acting roles for awhile (not just bl), because he was building his own company. Saint is now the CEO of Idol Factory, which he created to tell queer stories and be a safe place for actors (he delt with ALOT of bs as an actor). Now that the company is thriving, looks like he feels comfortable coming back to acting.
