For those who don’t know and still comment “S1 is better than S2,” just know that they are not actually separate seasons. They are only labeled as S1 and S2 by name, but they are in fact the same season. The context is that the Cgovt introduced rules restricting the number of episodes a show can have to 40. Some found loopholes and began airing shows longer than 40 episodes in parts. At that time, they would air “Part 2” directly after “Part 1,” meaning the shows were not impacted and would air back-to-back, avoiding any confusion. Some shows that did this were Love Like the Galaxy and Immortal Samsara.

This show was probably going to do the same, but when it was airing, the Cgovt implemented additional rules stating that if a show had several parts or seasons (a way around the rule), they must wait at least a year (don't quote me on this) to release the next part, like a grace period. I do not know whether these rules applied to this show since it was all filmed and airing, but I guess the team didn’t want to take any chances. This is why it’s in seasons, but in reality, it’s the same season. Also, due to censorship, which cut about 7 episodes from 70 to 63, there will probably be some plot holes. However, this is not the team's fault, but rather due to censorship. I do think however that they should have been smoother with the editing.

if it follows the novel (so far the show has stayed faithful to the novel) then the show will have a happy ending. But this will depend on the ship you support.

I feel like I’m back at my English Literature class again the way I’m analysing minuscule details. The action of XH’s fingers dropping after reading the pulse really spoke so much volume. It highlighted his heart dropped, which also was emphasised when he said “WHOSE IS IT” 😂 even though he knows she’s not been with anyone and the chances are, if she was pregnant, the likelihood of it been his would be high 😂😂.

You could be right, LLTG had minimal now that I think about it. Didn’t even get a wedding scene of LB and CS :(

To start, the blinding lights were everywhere like it would be a bed scene at night where they get intimate and then you see a light behind them just completely overshadowing them. There’s also the melting polt that was used over and over again in that confrontation scene. There’s more but these two things I remember the most.

Name a better (or worse) duo than useless objects getting in the way in important scenes. I’m still getting flashbacks from SOKP.

Yep, normally I have a lot of patience and can withstand all types of characters but for some reason, I don’t have the same feeling in this drama. Maybe cuz in CDRAMAS, im used to seeing FL starting off with a douche bag then finding a good person. Here, it’s just one terrible guy after another.

I’m watching Jade’s fateful love as well which is also ongoing. So far it’s decent. I feel like this year has been dry with CDRAMAS. Like last year they were serving bangers after bangers.

I’m probs gonna skip to when she gets divorced from LGX’s character. I love him as an actor but his character is unbearable to watch. It’s already hard to watch ep 17-18 without getting frustrated. And reading comments and watching the previews, it’s putting me off from watching the show. Don’t get me wrong, I am aware that this is not a romance drama but rather real life (and I am rather enjoying it). With that being said, Rose’s mother in law is a nutcase, reminds me of the mother from best choice ever (which was a torture to watch for 20 eps straight as a result). I don’t think I got the facilities to watch that mother hence why I am boycotting until Rose divorces that dude.

Yep, far too many in 2023 that I don’t have enough fingers to count. The only one I think we gonna get that will be of satisfactory is LYF.

Yes, they will have their powers (to some extent). XZ becomes an immortal so his powers get reduced from being the most powerful to a immortal. I guess that’s better than being a mere mortal.
