so excited for the last 2 episodes!! they are going to be so much fun hehe. i feel like ep37 will be able to wrap up the arc, and we might actually get an entire 40 min in ep38 to see our happy ending. im so impressed by the pacing of this show, im ngl. of course i wish we could've spent some more time in some lifetimes, but overall the pacing for the actual plot is spot on. especially with all the scenes they had to cut, i feel like the writers/everyone else did such an amazing job pulling this off in just 38 eps. like the ending so far does not feel rushed at all to me. again i would've loveddd to spend more time developing lives 4 and 6, and even bits of 2 and 5, but overall phenomenal job done with pacing and storytelling.

i think that was just a styling choice to keep him looking the same and just show the aging with the white hair. it could also just be what the commenter above me said and be a symbol of his grief

i just assumed it's because he got old. as if to show he kept his promise and kept on living after she died. and also to show that even at his old age, he still stayed by her side/grave and never forgot her.

there's some downsides, but i'm addicted to it right now. the acting, styling, and pacing is so far, so good. i think you'd really like it if you have enjoyed other xanxias.

i'm also a bit like... confused i guess as to haoxun's motives. because he's already got everything he wanted, which is the throne. so for him to still be acting evil is lowkey really weird. i can't figure out why he wants chu kong dead and all that when it seems like their parents are out of the picture and chu kong is just the god of war.

yes i was going through his drama list in mdl and saw that show listed. i hope they style him really well for it lol!

i'm kind of the opposite lol. i watch a lot of shows just to see my fav actors. i only watch other shows from actors i don't know if they're highly rated or they're recommended to me by a friend or if the plot is like way too interesting to pass up. i'm probably missing out on so many gems (esp bc i currently don't know too many chinese actors), so i'm trying to change that lol.
