Fan Xiao was watching him from afar, yes. But not personally, a bit through his friend. And he didn't interfere with YSL's life, just making sure he was safe and ok. Though he still tried to "manipulate" YSL by giving him the "chance" to adopt the kid they saved. And even when YSL went out with someone, FX didn't attack that guy.

It definitely is. Have you watched My Stand-In? It's still lesser toxic than this but might if you enjoyed that, or if you'll enjoy that, then you might enjoy this too

i'm actually planning to rewatch s1 and s2, but i think they didn't intentionally kill them, but some might've died from their deeds (getting revenge, trying to escape, etc)
