Years passed, but for some reason, no drama could beat this in terms of script, pacing, and character story line for both main and side characters (even when the ending was devastating) These days dramas are too dramatic in the costumes (it to exaggerated to the point it looks unrealistic), what happend to the simple realistic costumes and scripts make no sense, Side characters have no story; they are just there for decoration or to help the FL and ML (of course not all some are still really goos just not the same anymore) (am I the only one feeling like this)
Finished it, I love both S1 and S2, a story with a good script and cinematography in 2026 I haven't found a drama that was like this, with good pacing, and in the end, eveyone got what they deserved. These days, you can't find good drama with a script.
Something that can finally match up to A Journey to Love, though they aren't the same genre. I'm talking about the script and pacing, and the friends and promises they made (except this drama had a really happy ending, unlike AJTL)
Ashes to Crown (it's done airing now) The first Jasmine Archives: The Nanyang Mystery Never-Ending Summer Love has Fireworks (it's an okay drama, I'm not watching it)
I'm watching Zhan Zhao's adventures. Bai Yutang keeps reminding me of Yu Shi San. I've rewatched this drama multiple times. One of my al time favorites
