The camera angles are a little weird. I have yet to figure out if they were filming in the actual desert or it's green screen (bc it looks weird)

I love how realistic Zhuang Jie is. She’s flawed, messy, and fiercely guarded because she’s spent her entire life trying to prove she isn't a burden due to her disability. Her bubbly personality is a survival mechanism to control how the world sees her. She pushes Maidong away out of pure fear, and that raw, defensive psychology makes her feel like a real human being instead of a perfect, flat drama character.

the script writing even though it was sad. i loved the friendships that group they had funny moments and it's those moments that make ending really sad.

I promise you it will happen :) the ending was perfect

You should definatly watch The Truth Within it's very good and the writing makes sense, and it has one of my favorite actors :)
If you ever want to watch modern drama or want something different, I would recommend: Archives: The Nanyang Mystery, A Journey to Love, Meet Yourself, Deep Affection Eyes, The Best Thing.

I agree with you. I really enjoyed this drama. I think you might like Mysterious Lotus Casebook (it's one of my favorites). I don't really know many other good mystery historical dramas (because people these days usually love watching a show just for romance, so there is a mystery drama drought), but I do know some good modern dramas like Archives: The Nanyang Mystery, Deep Afection Eyes (there is a little mystery about the FL's mother), Meet Yourself (if you ever need a drama that can heal your SOUL) and The Best Thing (One drama where there is NO annoyingly long misunderstandings and if there is it is solved within the next episode there was like only 1). HAVE A GOOD DAY :)

A Journey to Love's characters, even side characters, are well written. This drama has really good writing :)
