I think the most touching scene of the whole series is on the last episode, when they both went back to Lin’an and the ghost of the people who were massacred welcomed them back. for me it closed that loop from the beginning til end. the massacre was also the darkest part of the story. very touching.

they created a what if scenario which for me was kinda nice, what if 17 years ago the emperor did not do what he did, and they all lived happily ever after. kinda corny but like an icing on the cake.

I’m at episode 17 and the first 15 episode the pace went well and then it seems to have hit a wall or a speed bump and just drastically slowed down. I sincerely want to believe a very young prince could lead an army to war and win, with battle scars to prove but hey, it’s a drama so anything is possible. I feel like the writer had to decide when this push-pull relationship will eventually give in and goes downhill and maybe it’s at this point. but it just dragged on for two episodes. and it just lacked that spark maybe because our prince is just so stoic he’s personality is plain as milk. not even a sign of excitement…not a spark of of smile. without spilling I guess this is the beginning of the end. woe is me I’m for sad shows but please keep it to 1-2 episodes or my heart may give in. the best news is that its only 24 episodes.

yeah but not to the point it changes your facial muscles ability to act. it’s my opinion as I see it so chill brother or sister as the case may be.

I really wanted to like this but the dialogues are soooooooo long and dragging. it just keeps going on and on and on. and what’s with the sister in a comedic role with the Jade Guard. as dark as the show is why insert comedy? it’s not really a dramedy. I’ve never fast tracked so many episode and skipped chapters even just to get to the point. this could have been completed in 12 episodes but painstakingly made longer. and Linghe’s role was pathetic that you just want to root for the antagonist specially the cruel brother. don’t even get me started with the useless elders, what was their role anyway? oh well can’t win them all. I’m giving this show a 3/10

I watched and rewatched Zhnag Ling He in The Story of Kunning Palace and he looks much older in that show. But in Pursuitbof Jade he looks like he had a complete makeover, younger and even less wrinkle when he smiles. Maybe Botox around the cheeks, I’m not complaining he definitely looks much better in this show.

I would have rated this higher and it started out really great. unfortunately like a lot of Chinese and Korean dramas, it is filled with so much redirected stories design for audience to think one way only to explain what really happened later. it’s designed to pull you into the story only to learn, oh that’s why! for me that only works in Detective shows. in order not to spill the beans I can’t really tell what parts were redirect and misdirections. just like a magic trick but through creative writing. this show has too much of that. could have been completed in 10 less episodes IMHO. a Lott of good actors though and that’s a plus.

A beautifully produced. movie about life, love, and the pain of living. The show reminds younger generation to live and love for the present as the future is never guaranteed. I’m glad the writers kept true to reality, and life is living without regrets.

I enjoyed their chemistry in the very short series The Renovation and definitely enjoying them in Reloved. that smile jus melts me and for now I’m just enjoying their minimalist tension. these two are underrated in my opinion. remind me is See and Keen.

wow. is this GMMTV? I thought I was watching a European produced show. it has moods, grunge, mystery, erotic and sexy, and great acting. and the music…. I hope they can sustain the storyline but definitely got me hooked.

when writers create drama and tension by making women as the reason for man’s eventual demise is a trope that worked a long time ago but please…though I am a man I don’t like it when men are made stupid by conniving women. I was hoping this series was different alas it is the same sad story.

Japanese acting is uniquely its own in comparison to other Asian countries. deeply rooted in emotions under that stoic surface, an acting method that is both intense and lighthearted just like their manga’s, so relateable making you feel you’re in their world.

didn’t expect this to be above average Thai BL and it’s turning out to be a Greta start of a beautiful rom-com. love the cameos as well.

I dropped it at episode 31. preferred Dark River.

Film’s appeal is another level from the ordinary looking lead actors. He needs his own show and a matching lead. just sayin’

In Blood River and Blood of Youth the character of Su Mu Yu truly stood out. I’m glad blood River was able to expand on the complex personality that was obviously lacking in Blood of Youth. regardless this flows so much better compare to the other Chinese drama Sword and Beloved and TJOL even with the numerous personalities and characters.

when I first heard the plot line of this show I was surprised that they would take on a strong and hard issue like drug-rape and online sex. I give the producers credit for starting with this premise revolving primarily around the male lead. this means everyone is secondary including Ja and his emotions. I’m watching this to see how our male protagonist deals with this most difficult experience. yeah there will be a lot of flaws after all this is Thai BL but absence of lousy CGI and fight scenes I Al wondering if our protagonist can sustain his emotional role. how does one even prepare for this role. Ja plays his typical puppy dog role which always makes him a weak male lead but that is the role of this character and not the fault of Ja. with all the BL shows this year it is kinda refreshing to watch a show dealing with this type of societal issues. however I don’t see a lot of chemistry from our lead actors or maybe it’s just too early for fireworks to explode. understand that for rape victims having sex is the most difficult experience.

I agree. I am getting so tired of Cheng Yi dramas. it’s so depressing. who needs a constant sad drama when the world needs to feel good.

🤣🤣🤣🤣the joke is on us. anyone but Cheng Yi dies, a lame love story, and a lonely sad ending and dare I say a lead actress with ooor chemistry? why am I not surprised. I’m sensing he’s better paired with another male lead and create a BL drama instead. a repeat of TJOL.
