This is such a shallow and bland series. It is not a kdrama, but Kwood. It is labeled as rom com but there is…
I agree with a lot of what you say , I thought it was me losing interest in K dramas they’re just OK now even though some of them have my favorite actors and I watched their older series and love them and can watch them over and over again. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just become like a factory everything coming out too quickly and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of The writing is AI produced, which would of course seem flat because there’s no emotion to AI or at least there’s that’s my understanding of it. I’m not gonna give it as bad as critique as you are. Yeah, I accept it’s just to pass the time. I did enjoy reactivating agent Kim though surprisingly cause it’s not my genre at all, but that was some really good writing. Yeah yeah I can do without the action scene. Such you know not what I’m into but the dialogue some of it was so funny truly if they could make me laugh like that that’s A good script writer

I liked the drama it could have gone more into depth if some of the characters especially the sisters & her daughter , why she resented her own daughter & the fact she wallowed in her own self pity for decades affecting the whole family … also the ending was a bit flat ..glad they got together again but why the year had to go by I don’t understand , She had already Banished her mother from her life, and the sister seem to be accepting her life in a wheelchair instead of making it Almost like sentence Of death. But then again, it was only eight episodes so they tried to fit everything in and I guess we have to use our imagination as to why maybe they both just had to get their own lives individually on track and then they could come back to each other like it was fate that they ran into each other at the same place. What to watch next I guess see you at work tomorrow it’s only two more episodes. Also reactivated Asian Kim is over the husband. I want something lighthearted and he recommendations.

How is this related to THIS drama?
There are so many others I was hooked after watching shopping King Louis, and then just went backwards and forwardwatched everything else he’d ever done eve.i didn’t list all of them. I was just listing the more cheerful ones since she seems to think he always portrays a person with a dull personality , I think totally the opposite right why you said I’ve watched everything he’s in. I just didn’t watch pipeline though I don’t know if I could watch him as a deranged scary person plus the tattooing that he had to go through for that movie the whole genre the movie isn’t my type show. She doesn’t even know about his singing experience and how he started by winning a singing competition I’m not I don’t remember the name of that and what he looked like when he won that show he was twice the size he is now I give him credit for that turning himself into an idol?

How is this related to THIS drama?
How many of his dramas have you watched? He is not always the same character. Have you ever watched Rascals son or King Louis or King of High School I’ve watched pretty much all of his dramas except for the real violet ones. I didn’t watch the movie pipeline. I don’t think I wanna see him in that type of a character and I’ve watched his reality shows also actually Comes across as a charming, Compassionate. , Down to earth ,Kind And most of all talented person came from very humble beginnings to achieve what he’s achieved he’s changed his whole appearance. I think he’s a wonderful actor and a kind hearted person , so again why do you watch his shows if you don’t like him??

Divorce is still thought of as a major social taboo in many cultures. Modern logic doesn’t change long held…
All I can say is, I think divorce is becoming a more accepted solution to bad marriages, even in South Korea, especially when you hear the backstory of his divorce and how sad it was he didn’t do anything that’s worthy of him having to live with a stigma of being a divorced man for the rest of his life , I honestly believe that some of these dramas point this out in a roundabout way by showing how ridiculous it is to condemn him for something that was beyond his control. He didn’t want the divorce she did and she gave him no sympathy or alternative whatsoever for what he was going through and yes, they should’ve gotten divorced because apparently she was a very selfish person back then

Should’ve just replied just to me and kept the private between us, not too many people care about your opinion either you’re not a very nice person. You could’ve said it in a different way really

I honestly don't understand why divorce is still seen as some kind of flaw, especially in a developed country.Anyone…
I agree completely , I thought it was very strange that even though they were childhood friends & she Knew the sadness He was going through with his father abandon& I guess his mother dying. She wasn’t there for him at all, and the fact that her mother and his mother were best friends too wasn’t even there for her mother she’s was very selfish obviously And the fact that they were married for less than a year, maybe they had a honeymoon and that was it because apparently she left right away so they never really lived together and he stayed single and alone for 10 years , I would consider him a man who went through an annulment not a marriage. They might’ve had a wedding, but they never had a marriage, poor guy.

well call me crazy hahaha but I would prefer that than a cookie cutter overused plot. Maybe I have a drama block…
His father beat him up And probably threatened to destroy her at her family’s life if he’s stuck it out with her that’s why he agreed to go to the United States, but I guess once he got there, he decided to live his own life and stay away from her though

I really don’t care about anybody else’s opinion I am enjoying this series. The only thing I don’t get is the whole stigma around divorce. I mean this is the 21st-century divorce does happen. Should that person Be condemned with a life of loneliness s because they’ve been divorced? I think it’s time. For these K dramas to enter into the 21st-century. For years, they worried about the birth rate being slow. Now they’re worrying about people not getting married. People are getting married because they feel that if it doesn’t work out, they’re gonna be looked down upon for the rest of their lives if they get divorced, it happens people change situations change people don’t have to stay committed to a relationship that doesn’t work or is it working? Why should one person put out more than another and that’s usually what happens as a reason for divorce one person cares more one person does more that’s no reason to stay married and neither is for the kids if you could tolerate each other maybe but if you hate each other for your kids to watch you just live in fear and anger. That’s no way to raise them either. Yes, there are issues with divorces. Children have issues, but if it’s handled correctly, it doesn’t have to have To be a lifelong stigma, even for the children of divorce parents. We don’t even know the reason for their divorce. I’m assuming one of them fell out of love with the other. He seems to have been hurt by it, but he could’ve been a flawed individual before the divorce. Apparently his parents or his father‘s relationship was not good. His mother died so but it’s still not any reason for people to not let him have a second chance of love.

Can we normalize releasing all the episodes at once? 😭 Netflix spoiled me. I’m a binge-watcher, not a “wait…
Apparently, you haven’t been watching Netflix lately or I don’t know Netflix here in the USA lately we’ve only getting two episodes every weekend on the major Kdramas, Yes, older shows used to do releasing all at once, but not anymore as far as I know

I’m enjoying this series. It’s just what I need right now with all that’s happening in the world. I just wanna watch something where people are sharing their compassion, their kindness and their love for each other, which is what the show is doing. That’s where it’s headed and it makes me feel good so I’m sorry it’s only 12 episodes but they’re getting things done. Quick issues resolved.

he was not born out of wedlock. idk somehow they made it obvious like beginning of the show that Gange se was…
I agree his reasoning makes no sense , he’s a lonely miserable old man who wants to control his sons lives & he has no right too … this whole scenario is getting so old, you know who is related,, who's adopted & the stigma of being adopted is Terribe Instead of presenting adoption as a positive they always make it out to be a negative it shouldn’t somebody welcoming somebody into their homes into their heart who’s not blood related is a wonderful thing I know because I’ve done it Is, Yeah, & 30 & 40 year old sons still need their daddy’s permission to date or to marry.. respect is one thing but when these demands are just totally ridiculous & making their lives miserable , especially after being lied too like gang si was …sorry but no justification for this old man’s actions …

I don't know who his mother is. But it is not Pung Ju mother. Gang Se have completely different parents. No connection…
Ok , I knew all that so gang di Been lied to all his life & thought his perfect dad had an affair with him as the result and it was better to tell him he was an illegitimate son then an adopted son … that’s just crazy .
Really isn’t anyone in the show that I like? They all have horrible personalities they’re really unlikable …

I am confused. How is gang si born out of wedlock, & who is his mother ? his father admits that he had an affair rather than tell him the truth, I don’t know I must’ve missed the show. That explained how he came to be living with them. I don’t understand.
