Honestly amazing

I'll be honest, I put this drama off for a long time because I didn't think it would be that good. I heard a lot of good reviews but thought they were exaggerating... they weren't :)
The story is amazing. The little animations are super cute and nicely done, the little stories Ko Moon Young write are also good an interesting. The actual drama's storyline is unique and I haven't watched a kdrama with a similar one before. The storyline about mental health included all different types showing the good and the bad and it was really well done. The fact that the main characters themselves also had their own issues which you discover as the show goes on adds to the idea that everyone has their own problems but you can get through it, whether it be physical or mental. the only issue I had with the storyline was everyone telling Moon Gang Tae to look after his brother as though that's not what he's been doing his whole life, and thus had no life of his own. I understood, however, as many people didn't know his backstory as we, the viewers, did (his mother saying she had him to look after his brother and being killed early in their life). I actually got emotional in a lot of the episodes because the story of different patients got to me as did how relatable the problems some of the characters went through (though not on such a dramatic scale).
Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji's acting was incredible, I hadn't watched a drama with either of these factors so I wasn't sure how they would be but they were brilliant. They portrayed their character so well as did the supporting cast. those portraying characters with mental illnesses did exceptionally well, especially Oh Jung Se who played the brother, Moon Sang Tae, who had autism. Just to make this drama even more amazing, the soundtrack was incredibly fitting. I have saved a lot of the songs from this drama to my playlist because they're so good.
Overall this drama made me laugh and cry and I would 100% recommend this to anyone who asked for tv shows to watch.

One of the best Thai BL dramas so far

Of course, a lot of people will watch this drama for the BL theme, all of the couples being very lovable, however, I would recommend this drama for the storyline. I have yet to watch another drama with a similar storyline - though drama's with reincarnation as the theme are popular, they're not like this. This drama made me cry in almost every episode the first time I watched it and I am not someone to cry to TV shows.
I gave the acting an 8, not really because I found the acting bad, especially not Fluke and Ohm, but more the way the scenes were set sometimes, some scenes could have been cut shorter to get to the point quicker. However, if you don't plan on watching a whole series properly, this is not the series for you as you need to watch every episode to get the story and it is most definitely a slow burn.
If you have the patience, I would most definitely recommend this drama, I have watched it multiple times already and would happily watch it again.

Best of the HIStory Series - would 100000% recommend

Story:
Although the main outcome is pretty clear from the start there are a lot of surprises and revelations that makes the ending so much sweeter. There's action, romance (with some very good kissing scenes), comedy, and mystery. The first time I watched it I did so in one sitting as I had to know the story behind Tang Yi's past and how he'll get over the death of his father figure and how he and Meng Shao Fei will fall in love.

Acting:
I find that if the plot is good, I am not too fussed with the acting but this drama is one of the few that I can confidently say had good acting. Other than the fact that both men in the main couple and side couple and veryyy attractive, the chemistry between Jake Hsu (Meng Shao Fei) and Chris Wu (Tang Yi) is amazing, and the side couple, Andy Bian (Jack) and Kenny Chen (Zhai Li An) was just as good. Though many people prefer Jack and Zhai Li An's relationship, I prefer Tang Yi and Meng Shao Fei's story as I find it more emotional though I would not be against a second season with Jack and Zhai Li An as the main couple (or just the actors together again).

Music:
The only reason I did not give this a 10 is because, unless the soundtrack is incredible or awful, the music does not affect my opinion on the TV show/movie. That being said I do have the main theme song on my phone as I enjoy remembering the TV show and it is nice to listen to...

Rewatch Value:
I have already rewatched this series multiple times and I love it every time. Every time I watch it I laugh when Meng Shao Fei does something cute but stupid, and get excited for Tang Yi when he finds the truth about his family and becomes close to Shao Fei.

Overall:
I have watched a lot of dramas and many of the HisTory series but this one is not only my favorite HIStory but definitely one of my favorite dramas in general. The story is perfect as is the cast - I would recommend watching their interviews after watching the series, they're super funny.

Not a background TV show

Overall I actually really enjoyed watching this drama, but I know a lot of people that didn't. I get that many people thought the storyline was messy and too complicated but that's why I enjoyed it as most kdramas I can guess basically the whole storyline from the first episode.
The acting is on point as expected from Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun and Woo Do Hwan and their characters are enjoyable to watch, especially Jo Young and Jo Eun Sub (both played by Woo Do Hwan) meeting each other.
The music from the drama is actually one of the best I have ever heard, the songs used are so good I listen to them a lot more compared to other drama OSTs.
The only reason I didn't give it a 10 for rewatch value is that I feel the mystery is what makes it worth the watch, if you know the ending I don't think it's as interesting and I can image it would feel like it drags on.
Overall I wouldn't suggest watching it if you're looking for something you don't need to focus on. I would definitely recommend this drama to my friends though.

This was just amazing

Okay, so I did just absolutely love this drama. I honestly can't find one fault in it, it was funny, romantic, sad at times but happy at the end. The acting was so good, each cast member was perfect for their role and the relationship between the characters felt so real. When I was watching it for the first time I actually had a hard time predicting the end, which I enjoyed as most dramas have such a predictable ending it's boring. The ending to this drama was perfect, though sad at first (yes I cried), the actual ending was so worthwhile and sweet and tied everything up perfectly. I would not be against a season 2 just to see them all happy together...
The only reason I gave rewatch value a 9 was because you just can't get the same emotions from it when you watch it again. That being said I have watched this drama multiple times and enjoyed it every time, but I could get as emotional to the story knowing the ending, not that that's really a bad thing. It's just, if I could, I would erase my memory to rewatch the drama for the first time again.
One thing is if you enjoyed this I would recommend Hotel Del Luna (or if you enjoyed Hotel Del Luna watch this) as they have very similar vibes in my opinion.
