One of the Top Thrillers out this year
I was hooked on this drama from the trailer and it did not disappoint. I can say this will easily be one of the top thriller all time for me (and I have seen atleast 15 k-thrillers). Since it is directed by Extracurricular's director, I can see the resemblence in how there is a gruesome tinge and blood everywhere.The best part was the strong female lead; the drama also slightly touches upon women in different male dominating industries. If I were to tag it : strong female lead, gangster, detective, mystery, gruesome, psychological, subtle romance, and twisted villain. One thing I really liked was how the drama is extremely balanced, with none of the sub-themes overpowering the others (you know how gangster dramas can be really cringey, this is not.)
The story for me was new but also predictable at the same time, (I guessed the killer in the 3rd ep) however, the details and mystery add a lot to viewer experience for this show. It has wintery vibes, giving the perfect chill to this drama.
Nothing could top the acting and I loved how the director gave so many more clues so we can draw our own conclusions alongside but it can get confusing at the beginning and trying to follow the cases at some places.
It is short so you can binge watch it in a day or night easily.
I'm definitely adding this to my top thriller recommendations for this year.

I haven't seen the other versions but I don't think I will now.
I haven't seen other versions except for the first few eps of Meteor Garden, but I can already say this is the best. I think the other versions will really dissapoint after this, because it is the most annoyance-free drama I have ever seen - and that is not easy with a story like this one. Like the story just flows so smoothly, plus its kind of changed up so the new outlook on things is the cherry on top we needed, the characters have great morals, not a single one is annoying its like you can understand them all. The ACTING!! 10/10 no doubt about it, especially when its not usually the case with high school romances. Im totally digging the bromance, all members of F4 are given good screen time unlike in meteor garden imo. Also, I keep replaying the OST all day long!!! Its that good and you can't get bored of it and when it starts playing at the cliffhanger it gives me chills for real. Now I regret watching it when its airing cuz I simply can't wait for the next eps.Was this review helpful to you?
It's realistic but not, at the same time.
So far so great; it's really an amazing thriller. It's like zombies but make it more realistic and there's only one, single officer trying to save the world. It makes sense and follows general logic, but also doesn't in many places. What itches me most is how almost nobody in an entire building other than three police officers and a little girl understand the gravity of the issue. Now, obviously we need one of the residents to mess things up for others for the dynamics but I absolutely hate how literally everyone is so non-serious about a mad person disease, but then again I enjoy when they get in trouble and I go "See, I told ya this would happen!". If things like this don't itch you, it is the pitch perfect apocalyptic drama with, in my opinion, loads of survival skills if you take note.Was this review helpful to you?
