Oh I’m so pissed at Luan Nian for getting mad at Zhitao. It can be very difficult to talk about SA especially with your loved ones/people you are close to. So I completely understand why she couldn’t bring herself to tell Luke and well, to some extent, I understand why Luke was upset about that. But gosh, seriously, can he think for a second before he talks?
By the way, Luke never actually apologised (?) he just said he “went there (to Flora’s house) to apologise”… Or maybe the apology didn’t get translated, I don’t know, it was just weird to me that they never showed his apology when, to me, it feels like that part would have been very important. Sure, you could say the apology could have happened off screen but in this case I feel like it would have been important to show.
FL always wants ML to act in a way she wants. She wanted ML to explain the punishment thing, when she was clear…
ML's communication skills are just as bad, if not worse... FL has shown so much more professionalism so far. Yes, she's not perfect, but she's been pretty good at separating their work life from their private life. It really pissed me off so bad when ML kissed FL in the parking lot after FL clearly told him that she didn't want to do this at work because sb could see them. He doesn't seem to understand that she has a lot more to lose if their relationship comes to light. Also, FL saw ML's childhood friend hugging him, visiting him at work and getting flowers from him, of course she would misunderstand the situation. She could have asked about it, yeah, but by that logic ML also could have cleared things up. He could have asked why she was upset instead of sulking. So it's clearly not just ML that needs to learn how to communicate better. I'd say Flora seems to be a lot more mature for her age then Luke is for his age.
I feel like confessing feelings while drunk is a classic trope. Also it's understandable that she pushes him away when she's hurt because of all the misunderstandings and lack of communication but despite all that she can't help having feeling for him.
I'm sorry if this response came off as rude, that wasn't my intention, I just don't see how you can pin most of the blame on FL when most of the time, to me, it's clear that ML is the one being in the wrong and acting less mature lol
Da Reum gave me so much secondhand embarrassment in the beginning, like I actually had to pause the first ep for a few hours (first meeting at hagi’s office) because I just couldn’t get myself to watch it lol. Then after that embarrassing scene I was pretty close to dropping the show because Da Reum kept acting like an actual teenager (I used to be a fangirl so yeah, I sort of get it but also it was just really annoying and embarrassing to watch) but I’m starting to like her now. I feel like she’s matured a lot since the beginning, especially after Chan’s ex girlfriend interrupted their “date”.
