i want more shows with this type of queer joy and love. i know some people think its “basic” and “boring” but these shows just bring me so much happiness as a queer person.
its also like news flash, queer people have “boring” lives too. its not always rainbows, parades and rampant homophobia, sometimes its just holding hands with your lover, giggling and smiling bc youre happy.
personally i really enjoy shows like these and ive also seen bls that do a good job of addressing homophobia and queer rights (watch not me for the drama, gay rights and chemistry lol). point is, if you think feel-good queer shows are basic and boring then tbh i agree w you a little they are but thats how i like them. no drama. also i know i said point is but i actually dont have a point im just rambling. idk just wanted to appreciate this show for showing something as beautiful and simple as queer love and to explain why some people may like this a lot even if its “basic” and “boring”.

me too i was surprised to see such a mellow ending. it worked out super well imo. also yeah the makeout scenes were really good compared to a lot of other bls.
