Come to watch My Liberation Notes with high expectation and end up with great disappointment
With so many good reviews, I was anticipated this drama to be one of the best. First couple of episode look promising, characters were intriguing and storyline was interesting. However, then the drama started to drag and becoming boring. I end up skip all the middle episodes and watched the final couple of episodes and did not miss anything. None of the characters make me want to continue watching them. The endings were nothing special, you can kind of guess what would happen in the earlier episodes. If I am going to watch three siblings with dead end lives, then my life must be more pathetic than theirs since I am wasting my time watching theirs. Was this review helpful to you?

This drama would be a 10 if it ends at episode 15
The three couples with "happy endings" ruin this drama for me. The acting and the dialogs were excellent until the last episode. The happy ending cheapens the main theme of the show about love and marriage. In real life, not all couples end up in love and marriages. I would have given the series a 10 out 10 if not for the last episode. The interactions between the mother in-laws and the daughter in-laws are accurately depicted as the one of the issues in the marriage, especially in the Asian society. Was this review helpful to you?
Waste of My Time
I found it perplexing that 'Hidden Love' received a high rating of 9.1 which is equivalent to 'Nirvana on Fire.' I watch about 10 episodes but ultimately had to abandon it, lacking any inclination to resume. The series felt monotonous and lacked the promised romantic essence. The male lead's persistent pursuit of his friend's younger sister struck me as inappropriate, to the extent that I would have severed ties if I were the brother. Overall, the drama failed to captivate my interest. I'd advise against investing time in it. If you're seeking a contemporary romance drama, I highly recommend the Korean series 'Crash Landing on You' instead. Was this review helpful to you?
Korean Version of X-Men
Amid the recent string of disappointments in US superhero movies and TV shows, the Korean take on superhero dramas outshines its US counterpart. This series focus on family and human relationship with intensity, suspense, and heartwarming moments. It kept me interested for entire 20 episodes, and I'm eagerly hoping for a second season. It stands in stark contrast to recent US superhero movies that often feel boring. I've wholeheartedly recommended this drama to all my friends. You won't regret watching this drama. Was this review helpful to you?
Rush Ending Ruin the Drama
My review echoes many other reviews posted here. There seems to be tale of the two dramas: first 10 episodes – intriguing, full of suspense, last 6 episode – rush and incoherent. The writers of the drama were too ambitious trying to create this huge balloon of excitement but couldn’t find a logical ending to close out the drama. The drama kept introducing many subplots and hoping for a big bang ending, but fell miserably flat at the end.Acting was decent and average by Korean drama standard. There was OST music to the show. It has a lot of cast members in this show, probably too many to keep a consistent drama in 16 episodes. Once the big mystery is revealed, there is really no rewatch value.

Overrated!
Unfortunately, I stopped watching Secretary Kim in the middle of episode 6. Between the two similar dramas, I much prefer Business Proposal which was much funnier and faster paced. I didn't feel the chemistry between the two leads and story development was slow. Since there were no second leads in this drama, the whole drama needs the main leads characters to really develop.I tend not to be able to relate to the rich guy/poor girl relationship. Can't imagine to be able to reserve the entire amusement park to woo a date.
The drama would be better if the drama just starts with Secretary Kim quit the company and the male lead tried to win her back. This kind of boss/employee romance can be considered sexual harassment nowadays.
