This drama gives impact with their initial episodes, but fell flat and get confused afterwards.

This drama gives a great impact with their initial episodes (1-3), but unfortunately fell flat and get confused afterwards (imo).

FL and SML (brother) are really carry on this drama on their shoulder. Without them, i don’t really think want to finish this and it’s kinda sad because of the big name of KSH. I love him in LFTS as an alien but in this drama, his character almost feel like the same. His hairstyle, his attitude, his gesture, the way he talk and cried... i really want to sympathize with him as a character, but end up skip almost his crying scene for the entire episodes (T_T). The only drama that i really like him as a character is in “The Producer.”

The story itself is kinda confusing. What do you really want to tell? About mental illness, healing process, love story, or thriller? The combination of lots of genre didn’t really work in this drama (imo, i don’t wanna upset anyone). There is so much information that really don’t take the story anywhere. And it really bothers me that the FL doesn’t get any treatment whilst her behavior is really disturbing and danger for anyone around her (push someone from the stairs-not cool, driving like a maniac when angry and threating someone to fullfill your request-not cool, always scream at people-not cool and many more). I also don’t get why FL falls in love with ML (apart from his physical that really annoys me and it serves as fan service a lot of time T_T). There is no consistency on the characters also (the brother can act like an adult with high function intelect shows, but sometime he respons something like childlike with no intelect at all). I am not expert on this at all, but saying as a viewer who want to enjoy a “fantasy” drama that feels logic at least. And don’t get me started with the confusing timeline and lots of surprises that not necessary at all.

But, if you want to watch drama with full of beautiful people, fancy costumes, good CGI, don’t care about stuff that really matters in real life, and want to know about mental illness then this drama is for you :)

I will recommend anyone to watch “It’s Ok It’s Love” instead if you want to see about mental illness and healing process through being loved by someone. They focused on the main theme of mental illness that the ML suffer (JIS really good in this drama) and other characters with some condition were just information for viewers, that people with condition still can be fully function in their life.

In my mind, YAMG is a more mature version of Love O2O. It almost has the same story, same plot and if i have to pick, i was enjoying Love O2O more than YAMG (imo) because the side characters in Love O2O have more depth and chances to shining with their own story. They also can make the gaming part more interesting and makes me as a non gamer viewer, still can enjoy and understand the story. And with YAMG, i feel that they way more too focused on the leads, and in my eyes, their story is so simple to be told in 32 episodes long.

The acting itself, well i can say that YY and DD are really fit with their characters. YY is being YY, as a handsome one and DD is also playing herself, as a succesfull actress. I am not a hater, because YY is indeed as handsome as hell, but as a character i way more like him in King's Avatar than this one. As for DD, i have to say that she is playing almost as the same in every drama that i've ever watched as a cheerfull girl and naive.

Also, the conflict in this drama is almost none, and that's a problem for me because in my mind, there is no ideal frame in this life. Life is hard, and people is struggling with their own problem from daily basis to the complex one. And ML's struggling in initial episode is almost non existent when he finally get together with the FL. The problem of having quality time with your partner in life also describe so light and the leads seems having a power to control their life, but that's not the case in real life (imo). Maybe i am a pessimistic person, but i dare not to say that people is not getting separated because they don't have time to spend with their partner, not to mention that one of them is a celebrity (too many examples to mention). The ML's also a super busy person, so how they can manage things in a short time without some major problems occured, i really don't understand.

But as a lighthearted drama, i quite like it. I just have to follow their story with a blank mind and enjoying their fluffy love scene (imo-honestly, a bit too much for my taste). You also can watch this series with your family in a relax manner. It is still a good drama, but not a great one ;)

Ok, when i first watch this series, i didn't expect to be this good. I've watched several things with Luhan as ML and thought that his acting is so-so. And about Wu Lei, i just know him from Nirvana in Fire, and i see this kid is really adorable. Who's gonna refuse that pouty face? But for the rest of the cast, i really don't know them so this is my first time to watch their acting.

First of all, there's time when the plot is quite messy, and the editing also gets choopy. Especially in the middle of the series, there is a moment when the dialouge seems not related with the previous episode and the acting is kinda awkward. They also take time too long to make a sequence of the story, and that makes me already forget about what has been happening before.

But for a 36 episodes of drama, and the duration for every episode is longer than cdrama in general, i found this series is quite addictive. Yes, episode 1 is not that compelling to me, but from there onward, i just can't stop binge watching. The story is good, it makes the series to another level. The premise maybe seems general, but its storytelling is so detailed and quite complex. The editing in initial episodes also that good, and the dialogue is really clever. The ending, although seems too far fetch but match with the story overall and satisfying. I have to applause the director and screenwriter for this part.

And for the acting, i must say the casting director is a genius, man! She/ he can cast someone that really fit with the character. I can't say that all actors have superb acting, but they can bring their own character into flesh because they really fit in with it. If i have to pick, i must say Wu Lei is the good one in acting department. I think he can manage his character really good and brings his raw emotion to the viewers. I cry several times when seeing his scenes. The actor who play his father also good, but he has smaller part than other main casts.

And that's all my thought. So, if you wanted to see a drama without too much romantic scene and more focused in friendship, family and achieving a dream, then this drama is for you. It is a heart warming drama and left deep impression to me as a viewer :)

I think, this is the best lakorn i've ever seen so far (my list is short). From beginning until the end, this lakorn is not making me want to fast foward or skip some scenes. I can truly enjoy this lakorn and relate to those characters.

First, i really like the story. It is really light but also put some weight in their dialogues and details. Many of those make me more appriciate about family, friends and the one you loved. You also can not easily judge someone for being evil just because you only see the result, but the process and their motives also very important. The influence from significant others also can trigger someone for either being a better person or even worse. And also how patience and love from someone you believe in is very important, especially when you are at your teen stage. Because in that stage, some teenager find it is really hard to communicate with older people, not to mention having a psychological trauma. The lack of quality time with your parents also can make a teen who emotionally not yet stable, for having a temper tantrum issue (this is a common problem in middle up family). On the other side, a mother will do whatever she can to protect her child, even if it would make her being hated. So, i really can relate with the story and find it quite realistic.

The characters are also believable, although some deliver more like a caricature for comedic purpose. It also has a makjang time, but i think it is normal and still... This is a soap opera, isn't it? The ML and FL also very good for bringing their characters into flesh. And i must admit, i really love Mark Prin's acting here. His acting is really natural and on point. I love how he can easily shifting his expression from being naughty to shock or nervous with little effort. He also can deliver emotion with his eyes, without being a mopey or having a dramatic crying scene like most of *drama that i've ever watched (imo). The FL also quite good when she is acting fierce and cute, but i think she can improve more in her expression, specially her eyes cause sometimes i find it hard to relate with her emotional scene (maybe because she has big eyes, i dunno). The supporting characters also do their job very good. They all have motives, and make me understand why they can act like that.

For the music ( OST & BGM) itself, i find it match with the scenes very well. The editing also very good, and you can see how beautiful the scenery is. The props, wardrobes and color palette are really neutral, beautiful and easy in eyes. If i have to complain, it is the pacing. Although has a good storytelling but it is very slow burn, and if you didn't binge watching then maybe it is really hard to bringing back the 'feeling' from previous episode (imo). And in earlier episode, there is some scenes that i find it weird and do not match with the timeline. But as the story progresses, everything is told really good and every story has satisfying closure (imo).

I really recommend this lakorn, because it is less dramatic and focuses in character development. But of course, this lakorn is not for everybody. Some find it quite unrealistic and too many exaggerated acting. I suggest if you still want to watch but only the good part of the drama, then just find clips on youtube. There's lot of sweet moment and it is satisfying to watch Mark Prin being bullied by a little girl hehehe ;)

Drama with beautiful OST.

This drama is really beautiful and full of magic. The shot, espicially until the first 10 episodes (imo) are lovely and i feel like watching movie. The color and setting, also CGI don’t bother me much from enjoying the drama.

The selling point of the drama is absolutely ZYC (male lead). Something about his acting really make me fell for his charm and he can carry off of different type of characters to live (as Hao Mei in love2o2, Xue Yao in sleepless princess). He is not just pretty face, but he can act. Also, he has a deep and low voice that i as a viewer, really love (first heard in sleepless princess, wonder who the voice actor is and suprised when knowing that it is his own voice :)). I wish he can involve in a bigger project and still maintain his humble personality. Wish you all the success!

But, unfortunately this drama is suffering from its storytelling. Sometimes, it’s confusing if you don’t know the whole story from the original novel. Also, there’s too much screetime for the supporting characters that makes the leads don’t have much time to really develop their characterization and get understanding from the audience (some viewers see FJY for being creepy T_T).

One word, CJH daebakkk!

This guy really can act. Initially, i don’t think he can manage this type of character but surprise, he nailed this.

With his cold stone face, he still can bring laugther from the way he talks, walks and stares. His character in this drama really change my perception of his as an actor. Really good job!

For the drama itself, it’s really interesting to follow CJH’s journey as the zombie character. The supporting also try they best, although not great. And because it is a journey, so not the type of drama that i want to watch again. But, season 2 is welcomed as long as they maintain the whole concept of the drama itself :)

Love love love this series, not because it’s a fancy drama or have a big budget for production, or big name actresses or actors, but because of the storytelling itself.

There’s nothing new with the story. Two strangers get entangled accidentially, fall in love, involve in conflicts, seperate and reunite. As simple as that. But something in the way the story is told to the viewers, (imo) is really light and touching. The plot is straight to the point, no wishy washy and all the problem can be solved within 1 episode which is really logic to me. I can binge this series only for a couple of days :)

The chemistry also on point, with very very very cute couple and the beautiful relationship of having a brother/ sister that you really can depend on.

Watch this if you want to get out from your stress daily life :D

As always, jdorama really can make you feel pain and want to cry with no effort at all.

The flow of the story is really good, it can compact the ML journey so that viewers can understand his POV. It also have good supporting characters and sympatize with their actions. Although, some miss here and there about their motives but not make you feel cringey and upset (imo).

Watch this if you want to understand about ALS and their struggle with this illness. Really interesting and enlighten me for the way you see life.

Rewatch value: almost none, because i don't wanna see some tragic drama more than once.

*RIP for the ML, really sad that i finally finished this series only after his death (T_T).

As soon as i finished from watching the drama, i just want to write something just to let out my feelings about this drama.

Everyone in the drama is really good for bringing their characters into life. I really love the dynamic from LJK's family. The parents's relationship, brother and sister's relationship, and how LJK's dealing with her problems with friends, boyfriend, and also herself. I also loved how the drama is taking a different direction from the webtoon. I think the director and the scriptwriter maybe taking an inspiration from Jdrama, because the balance and timing of the drama are really good (imo). It also quite a compact drama, when almost every problems can be resolved in just around 1 episode. Not too long, not too short i guess for my taste.

About the acting itself, i have to salute the FL actress. I really love her acting here. She is not affraid to look ugly and almost wore no make up, that's a commitment girl! She also can act with her body and makes me laugh lots of time. And what i really love about her is that she's never over acting. She acts natural, on point, not to subtle but not to over the top that makes me cringe. I think she is a talented actress and can have a bright future for her acting career. Her overall acting in this drama can make me believe that she is indeed a 18 years old teenager and not a 23 years old young adult, with some problem with her self esteem, school and friends.

The supporting characters are also really good, specially the family's members (her brother and sister are hillarious!), Mr. Han ( i duno how he still can manage not to laugh when he was acting), KSJ (he is good in doing expression and his voice... i loved it) and also Mr. Prince (his scenes are not alot, but left deep impression for me). Also i have to praise CEW as the ML. I think his acting skill improved alot in this drama compare to his previous work, considering he was playing almost the same character hehe (if you know which drama). I also think he is quite mature and a reserved person despite his young age, because he tend not to overact in his emotional scene and i like it!. But i have to admit, sometimes he still looks too stiff and a little bit off for his drunken scene (maybe he never drunk before? hehe). Overall, there's still lots of room for him to improve his acting skill in the future.

But still, it is not a perfect drama. That's why lots of people can love it and others may hate it. But for a family and school drama, i think it can stand the bar quite high. One thing that make me not to score this drama too high was the wedding scene in ep16. A little bit makes me cringe and want to fast foward that specific scene (too over the top and it's kinda destroy the drama's atmosphere that has been built since ep 1, such a shame for me-imo). Overall, this is a good drama if you want to watch a lighthearted and warm family drama. It also can make you laugh when you're feeling a little bit stress or sad, at least for me it really works. I sincerely recommend this drama.

This is a very good drama. I think kdramas are really trying hard to improve their skill in storytelling. As long as i remember until around 2019, they tend to switch their comedy genre to a melodrama thing when the story progressed and this kind of thing is frustated me when i watch a drama (imo this is happened quite often in saeguk drama). Because when i watch a comedy drama, i want to see comedy in every episode. I can tolerate some melodrama scenes, but only for side story and just to help the story progress.

But Mr. Queen is very good with consistency, and i really like that all of characters have been layered. I love that they have motivations for doing something, so i believe them as a human being because that's what people do in real life. Also, the FL always shows her best in her drama. I can see her as a different person in each of her dramas, and that's showing her talent as an actress. As for the ML, this is the first time i saw him in a drama and i can tell that he can act, and his acting is good. I really hope they will be pairing again in their next project, because the actor can balance his acting with hers.

If i could complain, it's just the ending. There will be no spoiler here, but i may say that the ending will be better if the ML didn't say one particular line hehe. Still, i recommend this drama if you want to watch a comedy in saeguk era :)
