Yes i think most people like it but i have seen 2 camps. Those who like the front vs the back.

The front was very fast paced but they probably crammed too much into it. Later half seemed like it was there to pass the censors. The plot was good but didnt match the pace of the front so some people felt it went downhill towards the end. I like the back because thats where JC appeared the most. 🤣

Time constraint. The movie is 2hr 40mins long. I do think they spent too much time in front showing WZQs crime spree.

At the roadshow TJC shared what Qi Sir did not express in his lines.

During the confrontation with WZQ, QHG told him that when he was a soldier, out of pity, he let off an enemy and it resulted in heavy casualties on his side. He managed to kill the soldier in the end. It appeared he was saying it to intimidate WZQ but he left out the fact that his GuangXi buddy died in that incident and QHG still wears his dog tag around his neck.
The director also shared that they cut a major QHG scene where he vomits (i think out of PTSD) while analysing WZQs actions. JC said he prepared a lot for that scene. Such a pity!

Haha they are asking if DaiQiu watched Empty Gun and if they know how to read the "Qi" word. I think most people dont know because its very uncommon. Last question is if they have any comments. 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛
