Ohh. I dont mean to say his character was easy. As JC mentioned before, QHG is an ordinary policeman who is really passionate about his job. I think he has to hold in a lot more than a character who outright has very distinctive traits (whether they be his past roles or other roles here). To contrast WZQ's insane drive, QHG needs to match his intensity but in a rational way.
I just think they have been brushing off the dialogue as a breeze.
