I think most of the initial ratings were given by fans or those who have been anticipating the drama. The first to watch it are likely people who love it to bits and will give 9 or 10s. And then the regular watchers who may give 7 to 9 come in, bringing it down. Of course there are also haters who lower the score further. I think a good drama will pick up once more people get to know how good it is. The rating is reflective only with enough raters. Dont worry, this drama is strong

I was turned off by the forcing and cheating him to be her disciple too, just because she thought she was saving him. I didnt like she decided on her own that he was evil and needed redemption. That was typical "Immoron" behaviour which we have been seeing a lot on Xianxia lately and i felt went against her character setting. But i guess every Xianxia has these flaws or there will be no story. 🤣 Im relieved she managed to change his mind later. Still going to continue with the drama and see how it goes.
