I meant their emphasis is less on celebs compared to new year events.They have more older folks watching. XZ is also on brtv and not cctv. Cctc is by invitation only so celebs dont get to choose. Of course they can turn it down too. π

Im not sure. They seem to invite well known veterans and even sportsmen and less of popular celebs to go in line with their government image. I cant imagine jc doing his dances there and certainly not Dead reflex. Hahah..

Although Spring Fest is more celebrated, they seem to spend less and just leave it to CCTV to do yearly traditional programmes. Didnt he also perform a song like this last year? I cant remember the title. The New Year celebrations on the other hand had all the tv stations and sponsors competing for viewership. This year's Dead Reflex was good but i think last year's was TOP tier! Im still blown away by the dance break.
