I think it's just because it's dropping one ep a day after only 8 episodes. Usually the first episodes start by introducibg the story and characters slowly, but i think it's already has great pace usually i find it hard to pass the forst episodes in other dramas. Next episodes will probably get more exciting especially with 2 episodes per day.

I don't know about tencent, chasing dreams will be there and I'll see, iQiyi as much as I hate them, they have great subs even for writing, sometimes even dubbing. They also seem to invest in global market like how they had him as their global ambassador before and others too. Their app is sooooo good too.

I agree with you, Funny, cause I saw simple YouTube animation channels do better even dubbing to different languages and providing great subs, but maybe to them and their budget especially if international viewers are a small fraction maybe they don't see how it's worth it. I think Mango are also pretty new to web dramas too not like other streming platforms, but yeah they can do better if they want. I'll just pray no other dramas i like will be with them. Well, it's not just about the existence of technology. It's that it is expensive. Kimi3 though owned by a chinese startup, it doesn't mean every chinese person and company has access to it for free just like not evey American has access to fable 5 for free. Being charged by tokens and releasing multiple episodes with too much script and context, they are probably not interested in investing in Ai models or tge hardware needed for that. I believe having human translators fixing basic machine translation is way simpler and less costly, but they seem to not care about global viewrs as they are not priority to them, unfortunately for us 🥲

I don't think they are using ai. They are probably using basic machine translation that has no meaning of context. Something like how google translate used to be translating words literally.
