The Starry Night, the Starry Sea Season 2

The character development in this show is as worthy of praise as the first. The acting was excellent and there were several tear-jerking moments throughout the show.
When I completed watching the first part of this series, I honestly had doubts as to whether I wanted to subject myself to another 30-plus episode montage in the tragedy genre, but curiosity got to me. I am glad it did, because I ended up on a journey with the characters in this show that I do not regret.

I absolutely loved the scenes between the two main leads in this show. Watching their relationship develop (even though I knew where it was going) was engaging. I loved all the actors in this version.
Two negative points to consider - after a while, the story got a little stale, and became a bit boring to watch what felt like the same situation happen over and over again. My other honest complaint is from episode 47 on I felt like I was being taken for a ride. Suddenly I felt deprived of a decent storyline ending.
This show has decent rewatch value, but I will likely never watch it all the way to the end again.

Much of the character development seemed a bit predictable, but it was still very engaging to watch. Some of the acting was a little difficult to watch, as it felt a bit overdone in some places.
The music was pleasing and the suspense of the show was well done.
I would definitely insist on watching this show, and the "part 2" prequel, as the storylines are fantastic and worth watching every moment of.

This show had me enthralled from the first to the last episode. It was like a really good book; I couldn't stop watching! I laughed and cried a LOT.
Honestly, this is one of a handful of dramas I have seen that is going on my list of 'rewatches'. Yes, I feel it's That. Good.

I can equate this drama to a really good book. I could not put it down. I honestly had a hard time sleeping because I wanted to watch the next episode so badly. Each episode of this drama left me with the feeling of 'what's going to happen next?!' which is a rare condition for me. Usually I end an episode and go "hmm, I wanna see what's next." This one left me absolutely needing more.
The multiple story arcs throughout the show were fascinating. I am especially looking forward to seeing "Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book" as the story wrapped around the two involved has me desperate to see more of their story.
By far, this drama is going on my list of top 5 favorite fantasy dramas. Worth watching every moment.
