It just means an episode was released earlier than its scheduled time. New episodes are posted at 2am in my timezone, but the episode was already out at 9:30pm when I checked.

I think some GMM adaptations are better than others due to budget. F4 Thailand had so many sponsorships, obviously due to it being a well-known franchise. The same could be said for Cherry Magic. I've only seen a couple of episodes of Cherry Magic, but I could tell a lot of money was put in. Some fans say it's either on par with or even better than the Thai adaptation.

I just hope Because You Are My First Love doesn't have the same fate as Faceless Love.

Well it happens all the time. The cdrama A Love So Beautiful released in 2017 and had a kdrama adaptation in 2020. There's even a Thai adaptation coming soon! Also Boys Over Flowers had a bunch of remakes released just a couple years apart from each other.
