Tbh, if they didn't brand this as a romance drama but a slight romance drama it wouldn't go that bad 😭 As a romance watcher myself, I personally like watching slight romance too, as long as it's 1% romance I will still watch it but it's not what was promised here. It's more of an adventure with a little romance on the side. And I'm used to seeing shows giving such an importance to side characters because of Greek and Turkish shows🤣 So that doesn't phase me either. Although I tried to make positive comments I understand people being upset, especially Cheng Yi stans bcuz if my fav actress had episodes in her own drama where she only appeared for a few seconds I would react the same. Still, the whole cast worked hard and they brought to life the characters. Maybe it didn't work out that well in the end but the cast isn't at fault.
