*2 “different” kinds of people don’t wanna watch it: those who dont like the casting (due to age gap) + those who want kissing scenes (doesnt care about the cast) and are disappointed that this one doesn’t. Yes, they’re two different people with different ideas… Based on what I saw cnetz comments.

*PS I am neither. I am still watching because the story is actually interesting and the acting 😍 And I have dropped other hmh dramas before like DY🫣. Kttph is just that good.

I kinda have a feeling why many people don’t watch this great show and why it’s so underrated compared to other ongoing ones. Besides their issue with casting, some dont watch because they know there’s no kissing scenes and therefore not enough romance 😆

I agree, with the part that a lot of cdrama fans want to see kissing scenes not just hugs or forehead kiss. Most cdrama fans go crazy over make out session scenes, especially when it’s in the hot tub 😂 (i’m kind of talking about myself too, yeah i’m one of them). I went crazy for love in the clouds and POB because of those kind of scenes 🥹 but genuinely, i also missed this kind of pure love historical cdrama. Pure love as in just longing gazes, holding hands, hugging, forehead kiss—no making out. It’s like old school vibe, but really brings me back to the past and it feels nice and sweet. Kttph is like a breath of fresh air. And the best part about it is… it actually has a storyline. A storyline that isn’t just about love/romance. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Me too. I still love this version though. It’s not as bad as I thought it would be. It sounds so close to him that sometimes i think its still him but with sore throat but idk it might just be me

His agency said he had a relapse (vocal cord issue) so he couldn’t finish dubbing, but I think they kept some of his voice coz some still sounds like him

The child is not Wuyi’s. And he had never met the crown princess that’s why . The brother was probably just concerned for the crown princess that’s why he said she missed Wuyi 🥲 spoiler from the actors themselves, xiao wuyi doesnt actually have intimate relationships with his so called wives or concubines. Wuyi also never loved anyone else except Xie Jiayu (the actor clarified in the livestream) but we would have to watch more episodes to really find out about his secret agenda. His other wives are just there to hide his real agenda. For example, he pretended to go to hot springs with his women to hide that he was actually investigating the military weapon case. Other reasons will be revealed later

Let’s talk about prince of changsha and wuyi clash…

What did Prince of Changsha do? Why is Xiao Wuyi mad at him and went off killing the Prince of Changsa’s people?

Because Prince of Changsha was responsible for the death of Xiao Wuyi’s army and other generals. That Prince also supposedly purchased defective military weapons to sabotage the army (if there is another plot twist later, I haven’t gotten that far yet but this seems to be what Xiao Wuyi believes) and proposed to marry Xie Jiayu because of her skills in weapon making. This is mainly why Xiao Wuyi then proposed to marry Xie Jiayu too. It wasn’t so just to annoy the prince of changsha. He needed to investigate HER and Prince of Changsha (see if they collaborated against his army) and to avenge the death of his people. Remember in Ep 1, when his people met with Xie Jiayu and Jiayu mentioned his name saying Xiao Sheng (Wuyi) reserved weapons from her (in which he didn’t). From here on, Wuyi became suspicious of her working with the Prince of Changsha who even wanted to marry her. Wuyi didn’t know Jiayu had a puppy love with his best friend or something.

It also seemed that the emeperor/empress are scared of xiao wuyi he does have a big army and they can’t necessarily control him


And may I just clarify that all Xiao wuyi’s wives (except the FL) are either his wife for business purposes or to help/protect them. And he doesn’t have a son. His first love is Xie Jiayu, according to the livestream

Guys just ignore the haters. If they dont wanna watch it and wanna b vocal about it, then let them do their thing. Aimi has already been chosen, there’s nothing they or we can do but bark bark bark . Aimi had fun in the bts. The atmosphere was respectful thats what matters.
